If you are looking for THE perfectly sorted, near mint but drivable (not a garage queen) Nero 355 Spider, this is it. This is THE one I sought out forever and took me 2 years to find. I went out of my way to find a car that was very clean, but more importantly perfectly mechanically sorted - this is it.

Headers have been replaced with Fabspeed headers so that will never be an issue again.

Bypass valve replaced with a Capristo last year.

Capristo Stage 3 exhaust!!!!!

Capristo bypass remote (can be removed and you can deduct $500 from the price)

Track pipes with NO Check engine light

Pirelli PZero tires with 70% tread left

Convertible top is absolutely mint

Paint has been fully paint corrected - it will blow your mind....

REAL Factory OEM Scuderia Shields

Battery replaced yesterday

New O2 Sensors

Dave Helms SRI Gold Connector Kit - the FULL $1600 kit (60% complete - was chasing down an O2 sensor issue and Dave convinced me that this kit would fix it - it wasn't needed and Ferrari of Central Florida found the issue)
I will include the rest of the kit with the car if you want to finish yourself or have your mechanic do it - if you're local, I'll help you.

There are no mechanical issues, not even a single error code.

The car was a single owner from birth until last year when the previous owner bought it and put $17k into service (headers were done then, as well as the major which was done 2/6/11 at Ferrari of Tampa)

He put only 300 miles on the car and then I bought it last December and have put 2700 miles and smiled through every single one.

All books, service records (always serviced at Ferrari of New England, Tampa for the last major and the Ferrari Central Florida for an oil change that I had done last year)

Red fob and two black fobs

NO STICKIES

If you don't know what all this stuff is and how lucky you are to find a car with all these items, this isn't the Ferrari for you!

I'm selling the car because I bought a 360 last week, that's the ONLY reason.

If you are looking for a NO STORIES, no accidents, no worries car that you can DRIVE without worrying about anything going wrong, this is THE car.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta auction raises $1.5M for Hurricane Sandy relief

Mon, 19 Nov 2012

Ferrari has managed to raise $1.5 million for victims of Hurricane Sandy during an auction in Austin, Texas for the very first F12 Berlinetta in the US. The funds will go to the American Red Cross and be earmarked for Hurricane Sandy relief. Ferrari started bidding on the F12 at $315,888, but the most powerful production model from the company fetched $1.125 million by the time the gavel fell through bids sourced both in person and over the phone. The company also managed to raise a further $345,000 in in-kind donations before the auction began, and donors gave an additional $50,000 during the event itself.
Ferrari debuted the F12 Berlinetta at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and the company is set to deliver its first model to a US customer in the second quarter of 2013. The automaker reminds its fans that it is still possible to donate to the Hurricane Sandy relief fund by visiting a special Ferrari section of the American Red Cross page. Infographic: Comparing the Veneno, LaFerrari and P1 supercars

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

This year's Geneva Motor Show served as the launch platform for three of the world's latest and greatest supercars. The Italians brought us the Lamborghini Veneno and the Ferrari LaFerrari, while the British unveiled the production version of the McLaren P1.
To put the three in better perspective - as if any of us will ever fully comprehend trio of million dollar coupes - the Aussies at Motoring.com built an infographic (click above to enlarge) that outlines what makes each of these cars so spectacular. Using unique colors to represent each of the vehicles, the team put together a variety of charts that focus on vital statistics, pricing, total production run and other parameters all designed to ease the process of digesting an overabundance of exotic goodness. We have uploaded the graphic full size in this link.

Race Recap: 2014 Australian Grand Prix quietly opens the new F1 era [spoilers]

Sun, 16 Mar 2014

The first chapter of the new Formula One era has been written with the conclusion of the Australian Grand Prix, and it included a rookie rush, some resurgent and some unsurprising performances, the sound of screeching tires and a couple of firsts.
Outside predictions as to the pace of the Mercedes AMG Petronas team were proved as soon as the Friday practice sessions, with Lewis Hamilton recovering from an engine sensor fault in the first session to top the second, followed by teammate Nico Rosberg. That didn't change come the start of qualifying, not even the rain slowing down the Silver Arrows, Hamilton taking pole as the last man across the line in Q3.
The surprises were in the order behind him, with new Infiniti Red Bull Racing man Daniel Ricciardo grabbing second spot just three-tenths of a second down on Hamilton. Ricciardo not only looked like he belonged at the front of the grid the entire weekend, but he seems to have reversed the Mark Webber jinx: four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel had car issues and didn't get into Q3, having to settle for 13th on the grid.
