1999 Ferrari F355 Spider Replica Kit Car on 2040-cars
New Vernon, New Jersey, United States
This is an awesome looking F355 replica which turns heads everywhere! GM V-6 with cams for unique sound. Also, a custom exhaust with intake. Looks and sounds authentic. Donor car is a 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT, has 8k on the odometer. The motor was rebuilt 10 years ago and that's when the cam's, exhaust, and intake were added. If you need more pictures please let me know. The vehicle is in great shape. It was never taken out in the rain after it was built like this. Extremely rare and hard to find a vehicle that has been taken care like this one. Very easy to maintain. Insurance is less than $200 per year! New battery recently replaced and was recently serviced with all oil's changed this past February. The vehicle has a 4 speed manual. This vehicle has all the looks of the real thing but cost less, less expensive to insure, and less expensive to maintain. It has the top which can easily be removed. I can post more pictures of the car or videos if you want. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions. First come first serve. This vehicle cost well over $40k to build. The last owner had the vehicle for 9 years and purchased it for $30k. The car is a must see. VIN: 1G2PG9790GP258396. I can post a picture of the title. No accidents and the vehicle has a clean title. If you have any questions please message me. |

Ferrari celebrates 10 million Facebook fans, animates Montezemolo
Fri, 07 Dec 2012Kia has 2.1 million fans on Facebook, though we'd wager that far more people worldwide own Kias than are fans of the Korean automaker's page. On the other hand, Ferrari, whose owners number just a lucky few, has a legion of fans counted in the millions. In fact, the Facebook page for the Italian automaker just surpassed 10 million Likes.
To celebrate this social media milestone, Ferrari has put together this cute little video below, featuring chairman Luca di Montezemolo, as well as a few other animated guest appearances.
For comparison's sake, major corporations like Pepsi have 9.1 million fans, Kohl's has 9.7 million fans, and Wal-Mart has 25+ million fans. For a car company that sells a few thousand units a year, 10+ million upstretched thumbs is quite the following.
Race Recap: Singapore Grand Prix is about a safety car and submission
Mon, 23 Sep 2013The Singapore Formula One Grand Prix is the Monaco GP of the Orient - a weekend known more for its glamour and time-slot than on-track action, with a temporary circuit that punishes every mistake, usually terminally.
Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas got the best of Free Practice 1, opening the curtain on a possible resurgence of Silver Arrows performance. By the time qualifying was done, though, it was his teammate Nico Rosberg who lined up second on the grid, followed by Romain Grosjean with a beautiful performance in the Lotus, Mark Webber in the Infiniti Red Bull, and Hamilton all the way back in fifth. Behind them were Felipe Massa outqualifying Ferrari teammate Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button getting the McLaren into eighth, Daniel Ricciardo with another good Q3 effort to get into ninth, and the shocker of Esteban Gutiérrez getting his Sauber into the top ten for the first time this year.
At the front of the pack was Sebastian Vettel. Again. But he was only ahead of Rosberg by a single tenth of a second...
2014 Ferrari FF
Fri, 06 Dec 2013Ferrari announced a panoramic roof option for its all-wheel drive FF at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, promising the new full-length glass panel would offer its well-heeled clientele "a genuine open-air driving feeling, while providing thermal and acoustic insulation." That statement was intriguing, as my experience with glass roofs usually ends abruptly after I close the opaque shade - as a Southern Californian, I always find tinted glass panels too hot during the day and too cold at night.
While the FF I reviewed in August was fitted with a solid aluminum roof, I was fortunate to catch up with a brand-new silver Ferrari FF (it only had about 160 miles on the odometer) with the optional panoramic roof at the Formula One race at Circuit of the Americas just last month. It was my lucky day, as I was about to spend about six hours with the four-place Italian, blissfully enjoying it during the warm day until long after the sun had set on the Texas horizon.
