Dodge: Viper Srt-10 Coupe 2-door on 2040-cars
Rockwood, Texas, United States
Up for sale is my Blue/Silver 2009 Dodge Viper. The strips alone are about a 5,000 option. I do have extras that will go with car. 1 Custom fit Car Cover 2 Four original Brake rotors. Car currently has ACR style 2-peice rotors. These upgraded Rotors look considerable better than standard rotors. 3 Four Michelin Pilot Tires. Extra Tires have less than 600 miles of wear, like new. Car currently is sitting on Michelin Super Pilot Tires. These are a higher grade Tire. 4 I will also include the Original Ring Gear and Pinion which is a 3.07. I had a High End Race Shop switch to a 3.55 Ratio. All OEM Brand Parts Purchased from a Viper only Parts House. If you are considering a Gen 4 or older Viper, It is a absolute must to lower the Gear Ratio (Ring Gear and Pinion). There is a ton of information about this on the web. You will think the car has a 100 extra HP by switching to a 3.55. Driving with the factory 3.07 ratio made 6th gear useless. By switching to the 3.55 it allows you to utilize all Transmission gears. The factory did not use the 3.07 to optimize performance, but rather to deal with a Gas Guzzler Tax that these beast are subject to. The 3.55 ratio is by far the best Mod there is for this model Viper and it really makes the car come alive. This is a extremely well kept good driving Car.

2014 Dodge Durango priced from $29,795*
Wed, 14 Aug 2013With all the new updates the Dodge Durango is getting for 2014, one thing that Dodge isn't changing on its big SUV is the starting price. Just like the current model year, the 2014 Dodge Durango will be priced from $29,795 (*not including $995 for destination).
This price is for the base SXT model, but the 2014 Durango is also offered in a new Limited trim level (replacing the Crew) as well as the sporty R/T and the luxurious Citadel. The Durango Limited starts at $35,995 (an increase of $800 over the 2013 Crew), while the R/T now starts at $38,995 (up $2,500). The top-of-the-line Durango Citadel will start at $40,995 - an increase of $1,000.
The many improvements made to the 2014 Durango include revised exterior styling, added in-cabin tech and an eight-speed automatic transmission (expected to return better fuel economy). Dodge is saying that the V6 models will get 25 miles per gallon on the highway while V8 models are expected to score 23-mpg highway, but there are no official EPA numbers to report yet. Scroll down for the full press release.
2015 Ford Mustang vs. Camaro and Challenger [w/poll]
Thu, 17 Jul 2014The horsepower wars are tightening among the Detroit Three, as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger are getting bigger, more powerful, and yes, more fuel efficient.
That came into sharper focus this week as more information was revealed about the most insane Challenger ever - the 707-horsepower Hellcat - followed quickly by Ford's in-depth showcase of the 2015 Mustang in Dearborn.
It's shaping up to be a golden age for enthusiasts, and what's under the hood is becoming more important than ever.
Dodge Viper recall requires small-handed mechanics
Fri, 25 Apr 2014It has been over a year since Chrysler first announced its recall of 3,660 2003-2004 Dodge Vipers because the airbag could suddenly deploy. The repairs are finally beginning, and it appears to be a nightmare for mechanics.
According to the automaker's filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag control module can fail, which causes the bag or the seatbelt pre-tensioner to deploy without warning. It took over a year to design the new parts, according to The New York Times. However, Chrysler finally has a new "jumper harness with an in-line diode filter circuit" ready to fix the problem.
The dilemma now moves to the mechanics who have to actually install the part. A 47-step guide from Chrysler explains that the procedure should take about two hours. It's not an easy job, though. Most of the dashboard has to be taken apart, and the instructions include this helpful bit of advice: "Installing the jumper harness and filter box into position is not an easy task. Patience, perseverance, and small hands are required." We wish the best of luck to them. The fix comes just in time for the Vipers to enjoy the summer sun.
