Up for sale is my dream car a black low mileage 2003 Dodge viper SRT-10. After searching for months to find a clean low mileage viper with the mods I wanted I finally ended up purchasing this car in November of 2012 with 12,500 miles on her. The Viper currently has 17,XXX miles and is 15 off the assembly line in 2003. I purchased this car from the second owner, where in this case he has owned the car since the end of 2003 which makes him the owner for almost 10 years. This owner had the car shipped to JMS Performance to install the Paxton set up with supporting mods. After I purchased my Viper I sent the car to Gjon, the owner of Power Plant Motorsport's who has vast knowledge in tuning the Vec 2, to have the car looked over and write a conservative tune on the car. The Car put down 658hp and 654rwtq on a conservative tune at 6.5lbs of boost. I have all the receipts for the Paxton install, clutch, and other supporting mods. All fluids have been changed and car was professionally detailed as well. The car has an older style BBK throttle body that needs to be changed or adjusted. The car idles at 1200 after warmed up. This Viper has the following mods. ~Paxton Supercharger with 6lb pulley (13,411) ~VEC 2 Stand Alone (1500) ~Snow Performance Stage 2 Water Methanol Injection- Owner paid extra to use factory windshield washer reservoir ~B&B Stepped headers (3,500) ~Corsa Track exhaust system (1250) ~Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch ~ Aluminum Flywheel ~ Tinted windows 20% ~ Tinted Tail lights (Can be removed) ~ Eibach Springs and Caps ~ Center Consol is wrapped in di noc CarbonFiber ~ Orange Stitched Shifter boot from Dodge dealership ~Orange stitched E-Brake boot from Dodge Dealership ~ MGW Chrome Gauge Bezels ~ MGW License plate Frame ~ MGW first Strike Shifter ~ 2005 CopperHead Viper Side badges ~ Calipers Painted 2005 Copper Head Orange with black VIPER letters. ~Brand new with less then 500 miles 360 Forged Spec 5 wheels. The lips are Chrome and the centers and inner barrels are brushed and clear coated. The fronts are 20x10 with 295/25RO Nitto Invos, and the rears are 20x13 with 345 25/20R0. The Car is lowered on Springs and caps which were installed only a few months ago. I just had the windows and tail lights tinted as well as the 05 copperhead badges put on as well. The car has a few scrapes on the lower (underside) portion of the front bumper besides that the car is almost perfect, Can hardly notice. Car is always garaged and never sees bad weather. No trades and test drives without cash in hand or finances ready to go. Clear title ready to go. Any questions please dont hesitate to ask. I have tons of pictures and videos that I can email or text. Dont worry about my Zero feedback I am on many forums and have also sold multiple cars through ebay. If there is any concern because of my feedback I can provide other car forums where I am known.

Help find Kenny Wayne Shepherd's stolen 1972 Dodge Charger

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Judging by his collection of cars, blues musician Kenny Wayne Shepherd (shown above, at left, with fellow musician George Thorogood) is an enthusiast of classic Dodge muscle cars, so it's no surprise that he is an active member of Mopar-related online communities. When his 1972 Dodge Charger turned up missing from an LA-area warehouse last Wednesday, Shepherd took to the forums of Moparts.org in an attempt to get the word out in hopes of recovering his custom classic.
The Charger was stolen along with four other vehicles, and Hot Rod reports that two women have been taken into custody since - but still no word on the car. With its blacked-out appearance (including custom Foose wheels), this car is definitely hard to miss, but Shepherd also said that the car might be even more distinguishable now due to some body damage that may have occurred as it was being driven from the warehouse lot. Shepherd's website has a full gallery of images for this '72 Charger, which also has a modern 392-cubic-inch V8 under the hood and a six-speed gearbox pulled from a Viper.
If you're in the LA area and happen to see this car, Shepherd asks that you call the LAPD West Valley Division at 818-374-7611. Here's to hoping this one-of-a-kind Charger turns up unscathed.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles: The next five years

Tue, 06 May 2014

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you've no doubt read about all of the big future product news coming out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles today. We had individual brand reports from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Maserati and even Ferrari, but in the interest of simplifying and summarizing, we're going to list out the hard facts once more. Of course, with all of this still off in the future, there's still the possibility that a few changes will be made. But as of what we know right now, here's what's coming, and what's going away.

Top torque-to-weight ratios under $100k, $50k and $25k

Tue, 07 Oct 2014

Horsepower may steal a lot of headlines, but the always-more-complex torque figure is often a critical one for both the workingman and the motoring playboy. The measure of rotational force represents the twist that can liquefy one's tires or haul one's horse trailer. Good stuff.
It follows then, that as with the horsepower-to-weight list that we assembled for you a few months ago, a list of cars that offer the most pound-feet with the fewest pounds to carry, is an interesting one to break down. Sure, there's a big difference in how the torque is applied from a turbocharged six-cylinder in a Swedish luxury sedan and a massive heavy-duty truck's turbo-diesel. But being the car/stat geeks that we are, we think it's kinda neat that those two vehicles rank near each other where torque and weight intersect.
As with the horsepower list, we've given you figures as pounds per every one pound-foot. Again broken down into broad price categories, we've got a mixed bag of 2014 and 2015 models here, too. Every effort has been made to select the most up-to-date prices and specs, and we've also to omitted some '14 cars that won't be re-upped after the ongoing yearly changeover.
