1991 Dodge Power Ram 250 4x4 Diesel With 80,000 Original Miles on 2040-cars
Potwin, Kansas, United States
Dodge Ram Power Wagon, Purchased 2/2/1994 from dealer in McPherson, Ks., one month short of 20 years ago. Truck had 49,399 miles on it when bought, now has only 80,052 miles on it. This truck has ALWAYS been shedded, never abused in anyway. The topper has been painted to match the truck. When the topper was not on truck it was also kept inside. A gooseneck stock trailer was pulled with it for a couple of years. We inherited a fith wheel last summer and pullled it to a lake 40 minutes away from the farm 3 times. It has hide-a-way goose neck ball and a fith wheel hitch.Odometor broke 8/8/11 and was repaired immediately by Scott & Son Speedo Service in Pontiac, MI. at cost of $507.60. Truck does have 20 more miles than odometer shows at the very most. Sterring shaft replaced 2/6/00. New tires all around 2/15/00 milage was 67,644. Head light replace 2/15/09. New water pump 11/1/01. Truck bed lower panal behide cab has 2 small rubs, that were on the truck when bought and did not see them . No peeling on clear coat, paint is in excellent condition for age, very few chips. The cab needs a headliner. Fuel gage has always shown 7/8 full when it is actually full. When radio is turned on acts weird-like a loose wire on speaker- but plays fine. Topper door needs shocks. The interior excellent condition, no cracks. The seat excellent condition except for one eraser size hole. The truck has no rust and you would be hard pressed to find another one in better condition. Shipping is at buyers expense. For any questions that you may have call 316-761-0323 and I will give you an honest answer. While at work I can't always answer my phone so leave message and I will return your call.

Chrysler to accelerate production of 2013 Ram and V6 engines
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.
How fracking is causing Chrysler minivans to sit on Detroit's riverfront
Fri, 25 Apr 2014It's fascinating the way that one change to a complex system can have all sorts of unintended consequences. For instance, there are hundreds of new Chrysler Town and County and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans built in Windsor, Ontario, sitting in lots on the Detroit waterfront because of the energy boom in the Bakken oil field in the northern US and parts of Canada.
The huge amount of crude oil coming from these sites mostly use freight trains for transport, and that supply boom has resulted in a shortage of railcars to carry other goods. According to The Windsor Star, North American crude oil transport by train has gone from 9,500 carloads in 2008 to 434,032 carloads in 2013. Making matters worse, some North American rail infrastructure is still damaged because of this year's harsh winter, and that's slowing things down even further.
Chrysler admits to The Star that it has had some delivery delays due to the freight train shortage. In the meantime, it's using more trucks to deliver its vehicles. Trucking is a far less economical solution, partially because a train can carry so many more units at one time, but alternatives are slim. The Windsor plant alone has a deal for 33 trucks to distribute the minivans around Canada and the Midwestern US.
Mopar '14 teased, returns to Challenger
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Every year, Mopar selects one special vehicle from the Chrysler portfolio and creates its own, one-off, special edition. Previously, there was the Mopar '13 Dart, '12 300, '11 Charger and the '10 Challenger, and for 2014, this teaser image shows that the company will be giving the unique treatment to Dodge's muscle coupe yet again.
Mopar has not revealed any details about its '14 Challenger, though the brand's president and CEO, Pietro Gorlier, says that "This limited-edition ride is for muscle-car fans who love high octane and customizable performance." All we know is, it's white, has some blue stripes, and a black (or carbon fiber) rear spoiler.
We'll know more when the Mopar '14 Challenger is revealed at the SEMA show in early November. In the meantime, click the image above to check out the teaser in high resolution, and have a look below for Chrysler's official press blast.
