NICE CLEAN 1978 DODGE POWER WAGON 4 X 4 WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION. TRIM IS CUSTOM 200 MODEL (WHICH I BELIEVE MAKES IT A 3/4 TON). REAR TAIL GATE READS "DODGE RAM".TRUCK STARTS RUNS , DRIVES AND STOPS. THE PREVIOUS OWNER TOLD ME HE INHERITED THE TRUCK FROM HIS GREAT UNCLE WHEN HE PASSED AWAY.THE NEPHEW SAID HE HAS NOT DROVE THE TRUCK MUCH IN THE 2 YEARS HE HAS OWNED IT. THE UNCLE PASSED AWAY 2 YEARS AGO AT THE AGE OF 101.THE NEPHEW SAID HIS UNCLE USED TO HERD SHEEP UP IN THE MOUNTAINS/HILLS OF WASHINGTON AND OREGON. HE BOUGHT THE TRUCK TO REVISIT (CAMP AND FISH)THE LAND OF HIS YOUTH AND  REMINISCE ABOUT DAYS OF OLD.I INITIALLY THOUGHT THE TRUCK HAD ORIGINAL PAINT BUT I SEE SIGNS OF OVER SPRAY AROUND THE RUBBER SEALS AROUND THE WINDOWS. THE PAINT DOES HAVE A NICE PATINA THOUGH. IT HAS A 8 FOOT BED.IT HAS 2 GAS TANKS BUT THE REAR ONE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN ADDED (NON FACTORY).THE TRAILER HITCH HAS BEEN WELDED TO THE FRAME.I BOUGHT THE TRUCK TO KEEP AND DRIVE AS IS BUT MY HOME REMODEL HAS RUN OVER BUDGET.THE NEPHEW SAID THE ENGINE IS A 318.THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE SEEMS TO WORK AS IT SHOULD.THE TIRES ARE NEW.THE WATER PUMP AND SOME OF THE HOSES SEEM TO HAVE BEEN REPLACED. IT DOES HAVE WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE ORIGINAL JACK UNDER THE HOOD.THERE ARE WHAT APPEAR TO BE ORIGINAL STICKERS ON THE DASH AND VALVE COVERS.THERE IS A CRACK IN THE DASH BUT IT ALSO SECONDS AS THE GLOVE BOX DOOR.MILES ARE ORIGINAL AT 83K.FRONT RIGHT (PASSENGER SIDE OF BED HAS SOME DRY ROT ABOUT 12 INCHES.ALSO COULD BE DRY ROT OF WOOD UNDER 2 METAL PIECES OF TIN ON BED?.JUST A COOL OLD TRUCK.THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE REALLY SWEETENS THE POT TOO.YOU ALL KNOW IT BRINGS ATTENTION AND COMPLEMENTS.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat en route to dealers

Sat, 15 Nov 2014

Get ready, world: The 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has officially been unleashed. But rather than just have the big coupes quietly arrive at dealers, Dodge has released this video, showing Hellcats loading up onto car carriers at Fiat-Chrysler's Brampton, Ontario plant. And yes, that is Mötley Crüe's "Kickstart My Heart" playing in the background. Of course.
This really is worth all the fanfare, though, considering Dodge will sell its ridiculously powerful, supercharged machine for just $59,995. And if the Challenger isn't quite up your alley, just remember, there's an equally powerful, 204-mph, four-door Charger Hellcat on the way...

Dodge bringing revamped Challenger, Charger to Big Apple

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

The 2014 New York Auto Show will be a big one for Dodge, as the brand has announced that refreshed versions of the 2015 Challenger and 2015 Charger will debut at the show. This is a particularly big deal for the two-door Challenger which, visually, has remained unchanged since is burst back onto the scene in 2008 and helped reignite the muscle car wars.
As a sort of hint, this announcement was accompanied by the picture you see above - the Super Bee logo in the Challenger's new instrument cluster. According to Dodge, the New York debut of a new "powertrain combination" - possibly with the high-output Hellcat V8 - will leave enthusiasts "abuzz."
As for the Charger, Dodge is promising a full redesign that should be a significant departure from the blunt, angry looks of the current model. At this point, there's no indication that the Challenger's new powertrain could be fitted to the Charger, although considering how mechanically similar these two vehicles have been, it doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility.

Chop the top of your new Dodge Viper for $35,000

Mon, 21 Jul 2014

We have good news, and we have bad news. First, the good: It's now possible to get a brand-new Dodge Viper roadster, which is nice, considering we're in the dead of summer and many of us like wind-in-the-hair motoring. Now, the bad: This is not a factory option from the automaker, instead coming courtesy of an aftermarket company called Prefix Performance, and that means it's going to cost you some serious coin.
Called Medusa, this drop-top Viper was created without the knowledge or consent of Dodge, but that's probably fine because Prefix works with the automaker already for the final preparation of the American supercar, including paint. According to the company, the current, fifth-gen Viper was built with a convertible version in mind, so no chassis strengthening is required. From the looks of the somewhat grainy photos available, the conversion appears of very high quality.
Want one? Well, that means you're going to need to procure a Viper - Prefix has 10 units ready for transformation as it stands - and that's going to cost at the very least $102,485. Then, you'll need to write a check for an additional $35,000 for Prefix to surgically remove the car's roof. Thing is, for that kind of cash, a prospective owner could buy, among other very nice options, a Viper hardtop and a loaded Miata, or a Corvette Stingray convertible and several pockets full of change. Or, perhaps a new Viper hardtop and a used, first-gen Viper convertible?
