1975 Dodge Ram 100 318 Motor Two Barrels Auto 83k Orig Miles Classic Clear Title on 2040-cars

Year:1975 Mileage:83
Location:

Laveen, Arizona, United States

Hello there folks up for sale is this very nice CLASSIC survivor. This truck has only 83,119 original miles. And spent most of its life with the same family (Father then Son) . Comes with the original manual and paperwork from the dealership. It is almost all original as you can see in the pictures the overall condition is very good for a classic.

Truck was in IOWA for more than 30 years and then the Son brought it to Arizona where he sold it to a family who kept it for two years (please see the title picture) and then passed it to me just recently.

Some years ago it was painted, but the paint is showing signs of oxidation and a couple small cracks on top of the side of bed as seeing on pictures.

It has a 318 motor with double barrels and automatic transmission. The original stereo was replaced by the recent owners. It is a CD player with a USB port and a remote control, speakers on the doors.

The interior is very decent and so is the seat even tough it has a few rips on the driver's side.

The windows are not cracked. The windows on the doors do open up and down easy.

The locks both work and it can open with keys from both sides.

The back bed was sprayed to protect it . A small cracked off  towards the back.

All lights work. The rear lights have been replaced recently.

The battery is fairly new.

The transmission does change fine.

The tires are in like new condition.

Here are the CONS:

It has not been run for more than a year so it needs some TLC.

The truck starts rough. The carburetor needs to be rebuilt as the motor does not stay on for a long time unless you keep on pressing the gas.

And  does leak oil from underneath. It seems like some seals dried and cracked.

The wipers do not work.

It MUST be picked up and fixed in order to be a driver.

Please see pictures and ask any questions before bidding as there are NO refunds offered. And there is NO warranty of any kind.

I have been on EBay for almost ten years with an impeccable feedback bid with confidence.

This is a beautiful truck waiting for a new owner who can return her to her glory days

I am by no means an expert on classic cars, I described the truck the best I can. Please if you have any questions ask before bidding. Thank you and good luck!!

2015 Dodge Charger darts into NY traffic

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

Meet the refreshed 2015 Dodge Charger; notice anything different? You would have to be pretty farsighted to miss the sedan's new Dart-like nose, and it's likely going to be quite polarizing to the car's fans. Gone are the previous furrowed, aggressive headlights in favor of a wider, friendlier look.
While the more rounded headlights and narrower grille are going to be the first thing most people notice, Dodge claims its designers have made changes to nearly every panel on the Charger. The hood dips down deeper at the front, and the doors show off a more angled version of the car's shoulder blister. LED running lights and taillights are standard on all models, and SXT and RT trims get LED foglights. Even though the front might not be as intimidating, Dodge has hung onto the sedan's muscular stance with angular contours making up the rest of the redesign.
Under the hood is the same engine range you've come to know over recent years. Both the 5.7-liter V8 and the 3.6-liter V6 return for 2015, with the Hemi making 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque, and the standard Pentestar outputting 292 hp and 260 lb-ft. All models are now equipped with Chrysler's TorqueFlight eight-speed automatic as standard. Fuel economy for V8 Chargers is predicted at 16 miles per gallon city and 25 mpg highway, compared to 15 mpg / 25 mpg last year with a five-speed automatic. All models also come with electric power steering, and the axles are cast from aluminum to save weight.

Dodge Viper saved from crusher by students, but will it last?

Tue, 16 Sep 2014

The saga of the Washington state community college hoping to keep its allegedly pre-production Dodge Viper out of the maw of the crusher is going strong. Not only does the school still have the car, but there's a chance that the college might even get to keep it.
The whole situation flared up in March when the South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, WA, received a notice from Chrysler Group that requested that the school's Viper be destroyed. The automaker had loaned the muscle car to it about a decade ago to use for educational purposes in its auto tech classes. With the Dodge growing long in the tooth, "it is unlikely that these vehicles offer any educational value to students," the company said in its press release on the matter.
However, the college balked at destroying its Viper, despite the fact it had signed a contract with Chrysler Group to do so. The school further claimed that its car was incredibly special because it was a pre-production example and just the fourth one made back in 1992. Although, as we pointed out at the time, the photos of the school's vehicle showed a coupe that looked like a newer Viper GTS.

Chrysler patents smarter minivan folding seats

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

It's frightening to think of how quickly the mice would have overtaken us if we hadn't stayed one step ahead of them with better mousetraps. We'll never have to worry about that in our relentlessly re-engineered world, though. Case in point: Chrysler has been granted a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for an improved design of the already wondrous Stow 'n' Go seating found in the automaker's Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
Introduced in 2005, the Stow 'n' Go was improved in 2008, and based on the drawings of this third-generation improvement, the new design appears to allow stowage of the second row of seats without having to move the front-row seats forward as much. It look like it also involves fewer operations and moving parts, with a portion of the seatback being incorporated into the flat floor when the seats are stowed, as opposed to having a completely separate cover.
It's possible that the innovation may appear on the next-generation minivans expected in 2015, but Chrysler isn't commenting on the patent.
