It's gonna sell!!!!! No reserve place that bid!!!!!!!!!!!!
For your consideration I have a 1964 Dodge 3/4 ton Swept line truck. The truck has the wedge 360 engine backed by a three speed manual transmission. This truck is a near perfect example of this year make and model. The truck will be sold with its original pink slip. Yep that's right this is a one owner truck (other than me). This truck spent the bulk of its life in California. I bought the truck several years ago in Texas, I trailered it to Illinois and drove it on weekends and Sunday drives. The truck has never been in salt or driven in snow. I had big plans for the truck but I am prohibited at this point from being able to stick money in it. I do know the brakes need replaced. I started it up a couple months ago and the carb was spitting gas everywhere so I had the carb rebuilt. It is a fresh rebuild, it hasn't even been installed at this point. As you may or may not know, this has granny low and she's strong!!!!!!!!! please understand, with a little work she is drivable. I'm not trying to do anything deceiving or misleading, you are buying an old truck, you will not be able to hop in it and drive it home the day you buy it. If you have some mechanical savvy, a little work and you've got yourself a kick ass truck!!!!!!! The picture show the truck in its current condition, including tree sap dust and dirt. It does wash up nice but I don't want to misrepresent the truck so I thought this would be the best way to show the truck. The truck has what I think is a very cool miners camper on it, THIS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE. The miners camper can be bought separately but it doesn't convey for the purchase price of this auction. The tailgate is in the bed of the truck. This truck will need fresh gas, oil, spark plugs, filters, fluids, etc. please.....please.....please don't make me or yourself look like an ass, know what your buying, if you have any questions please ask. Deposit in due within 24 hours of auctions end. Buyer is responsible for shipping. All sales final. No warranty is expressed or implied. You'd be buying a awesome truck , you'll be happy with it.
I am attempting to sell this truck locally, I reserve the right to end the auction. |

Old vs. New: 2014 SRT Viper takes on upgraded 16-year-old Dodge Viper
Fri, 08 Feb 2013It's easy to play the "Would you rather have a New X or an Old Y with a bunch of upgrades?" game more often than we care to admit, but the crew at Car and Driver have taken bench racing to the next level with their latest video. In it, the magazine pits a brand-new 2014 SRT Viper against a highly modified 1997 Dodge Viper GTS. There are 16 years between the time this particular GTS rolled off the production line and when the new car bowed, but that doesn't mean the old snake's owners have been sitting on their hands.
Thanks to a spate of modifications, the GTS offers up a better power to weight ratio than the new machine, but is that enough to overcome the technological leap forward represented by the 2014 Viper? We won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to check out the full clip below for yourself.
2015 Dodge Charger shows off its new look in New York [w/videos]
Thu, 17 Apr 2014With a new look inspired largely by the Dart compact, the 2015 Dodge Charger made its New York Auto Show debut today. Along with the interior and exterior changes, an eight-speed automatic becomes standard across the range.
What hasn't changed is the choice of engines under the Charger's long hood. A 3.7-liter V6 serves as the base mill, and can be had in both rear- and all-wheel-drive varieties, while the 5.7-liter V8 is an optional item and can be had in rear-drive only. Outputs are also carried over from last year, with 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque for the six-pot, while the Hemi V8 delivers 370 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque.
The new exterior treatment is a fairly large departure from the styling tone set by the Charger since its reintroduction to the US market in 2006. The blacked-out, crosshair grille and new headlamps are the biggest changes for 2015, though there are other, less immediately noticeable updates, such as the more rounded "Racetrack" taillamps that, like the front fascia, draw some inspiration from the Dart.
Help find Kenny Wayne Shepherd's stolen 1972 Dodge Charger
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Judging by his collection of cars, blues musician Kenny Wayne Shepherd (shown above, at left, with fellow musician George Thorogood) is an enthusiast of classic Dodge muscle cars, so it's no surprise that he is an active member of Mopar-related online communities. When his 1972 Dodge Charger turned up missing from an LA-area warehouse last Wednesday, Shepherd took to the forums of Moparts.org in an attempt to get the word out in hopes of recovering his custom classic.
The Charger was stolen along with four other vehicles, and Hot Rod reports that two women have been taken into custody since - but still no word on the car. With its blacked-out appearance (including custom Foose wheels), this car is definitely hard to miss, but Shepherd also said that the car might be even more distinguishable now due to some body damage that may have occurred as it was being driven from the warehouse lot. Shepherd's website has a full gallery of images for this '72 Charger, which also has a modern 392-cubic-inch V8 under the hood and a six-speed gearbox pulled from a Viper.
If you're in the LA area and happen to see this car, Shepherd asks that you call the LAPD West Valley Division at 818-374-7611. Here's to hoping this one-of-a-kind Charger turns up unscathed.
