Here is a great Florida car that you will be thrilled to own.

This 2002 Dodge Intrepid SE is in very good condition.  The interior and exterior are in great shape.  This is a Florida car and she does not have any noticible rust that we can see.  It is in very good condition for a 2002 vehicle.  Be sure to supersize the photos for the best viewing. This has nice cold air conditioning, the transmission has just been replaced with a 3 month local SW Florida warranty from a local transmission shop in Port Charlotte, FL, has newer tires and an oversized trunk.  The upgraded Kenwood Stereo system with USB works with iPod, iPhone and Pandora with removable faceplate and has a remote.  There is also an alarm system.

We have had regular full synthetic oil changes since we bought the vehicle back in 2010.  Here are a few quirks.  The gas gauge works fine until about half full.  After that it does not seem to be as accurate.  We just always kept the tank full and avoided any issue.  Ocasionally the check engine light has come on but no errors have shown and it goes back off.  There is one very minor small dent that was pulled out and repaired years ago. There is a photo of it, supersize for very minor detail.  Car is running fine and transmission was just replaced. There are 2 keys, with one key fob.  The tires have a lot of life left in them and there are upgraded alloy wheels.  This is an exceptional deal on a top quality vehicle.  This vehicle has not been smoked in since we have owned it and it did not appear to have been smoked in previously.

You will need to pick up the vehicle in Punta Gorda, Florida.  We are located in SW Florida and close to local airports in Punta Gorda and Fort Myers.  The vehicle is available for viewing prior to the end of the auction.  Please contact us to set up a time to see it.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has 707 glorious horsepower [w/video]

Tue, 01 Jul 2014

Hold onto your butts. "600-plus horsepower" is what we were told to expect from the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 engine. But as we've just learned, those were incredibly conservative numbers. Dodge has officially announced that the range-topping Challenger will hit the asphalt with 707 - seven hundred and seven - horsepower, making it the "most powerful muscle car ever."
Of course, 707 hp is only part of the story, as the Hellcat has also been confirmed to produce 650 pound-feet of torque. All that power will run exclusively to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission that differs from other Challengers. The new gearbox, 8HP90 (rather than the 8HP70) is "upgraded to handle the extra power and torque," says Dan Reid, SRT's manager of product design and motorsports.
We certainly hope you're prepared to spend a ton of money replacing tires.

Dodge Dart Registry helps you crowdsource money for your next ride [w/video]

Wed, 23 Jan 2013

To be honest, we're surprised something like this didn't pop up sooner. Chrysler is riffing on gift registries for couples getting married or expecting babies and cross-pollinating it with a social media funding website like Kickstarter to help customers buy its 2013 Dodge Dart. The Dodge Dart Registry allows people to build and customize a new Dart exactly how they want it, then let other people purchase some or all of the components as gifts.
The registry lets you add features like dark headlights, dual exhaust, various wheels and even interior options without choosing a specific trim level. This sounds a lot like the system Scion uses to let its customers configure cars, and this could be a great idea for Dodge. Of course, this system has the added benefit of being a social media affair for you to share with your friends... you know, so they can help pay for some of the parts, too.
The best thing about the registry is that you can configure your dream Dart from the comfort of your home computer, which strikes us as much better than walking around Bed, Bath and Beyond for the better part of an afternoon with an electronic scanner. The one thing that Dodge doesn't offer? "Thank You" cards. Those are on you.

2015 Dodge Challenger looks fresh, still plenty retro [w/video]

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

It was the Ford Mustang that kicked off the retro-styled muscle car renaissance back in 2005, but it was the Dodge Challenger that served as the movement's poster child, with its unabashedly retro looks. Over the years, though, as the Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro were freshened and upgraded, the look of the big Dodge has remained largely consistent since its 2008 debut. For 2015, the Challenger has received a big freshening, boasting strongly revised front and rear ends and (finally, finally, finally) a redesigned interior.
Let's talk about that new cabin first. It's basically been plucked directly from the redesigned Charger, and boasts the same seven-inch IP display. The center stack's miserable, last-gen display has been replaced by an expansive, 8.4-inch UConnect system. Material quality should see a solid boost with the new cabin, as well.
The exterior, meanwhile, sees a revised front fascia with LED halo lights, as well as new grille inserts. A functional shaker hood scoop is a must-have extra on the V8 models, while the back of the car is highlighted by a new set of LED taillights that don't use the "Racetrack" design of Dodge's other models.
