I have a super Clean 1974 Dart done in a Pro Touring Style. I bought this car form the original Owner that was a 84 year old Lady in Avon Park FL. The car has ZERO rust, it is so clean you cant imagine. The body had a few dings from kids Bikes so we had it repaired but the paint is not show quality, It is very nice but not show. The underneath is like new, every part has been replaced, I do not know where to even start. It has a 1971 340ci engine with a Eagle crank, Lunati Cam, good parts. It sounds amazing and run even better. The entire rear suspension is all new with a new 8-3/4" rear end that has disk brakes. All new Hotchkis rear springs, and rear Sway bar with CalTracs. The tank is new, all new lines, new driveshaft, all the way to the front of the car that is new. The entire "K" member was pulled and blasted, then Painted Satin Black and re-installed with all new performance parts. You can see by the pictures, not one dollar was spared. The Aluminum radiator with dual electric fans works perfectly and keep the car very cool. We took the care on a few legs of the power tour this year and it run awesome. The trans is a new TCI with a new 2400 Stall from TCI as well. Like I said, I spent a fortune on the car but have several and this one needs to go. The interior is completely stock with new carpet. It originally had a rubber floor but we added the carpet as it was tired. The entire cabin was insulated with Rattle trap and then re-installed, super clean. The car was originally a radio delete car so I left it, I wanted it to look as stock as possible so I didn't even add gauges, all the dash lights work perfectly, chrome is original, glass is original, paint is 65% original, just a nice car that wows at cruise nights. Please feel free to call with any questions, Bill. 630-486-4020

Total auto recalls already on record pace in 2014

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

If you've noticed that there have been more recalls than usual this year, you may be on to something. According to a report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the US market is on pace to break a record for recalls. In 2013, 22 million cars were recalled. We're only a third of the way through 2014, though, and we've already halved that figure, with 11 million units recalled. That's wild.
Considering the past few months, it shouldn't be a surprise that General Motors is leading the charge, with six million of the 11 million units recalled coming from one of the General's four brands. Between truck recalls, CUV recalls and the ignition switch recall, 2014 hasn't been a great year for GM.
Other recall leaders include Nissan (one million Sentra and Altima sedans), Honda (900,000 Odyssey minivans), Toyota (over one million units in a few recalls), Volkswagen (150,000 Passat sedans), Chrysler (644,000 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs) and most recently, Ford (434,000 units, the bulk of which were early Ford Escape CUVs). So while it's been a bad year for GM so far, its competitors aren't doing too well, either.

2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit is ready to serve and protect

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

Okay speed freaks, it's time to update your cheat sheet of police headlights, as Dodge has just unveiled the new 2015 Charger sedan's police variant, the Pursuit.
Like previous Charger Pursuits, the 2015 model is based on a modified version of the civilian sedan, featuring the same basic batch of mechanicals and sheetmetal, while adding a number of items specific to the five-oh.
For 2015, cops can select from the same 3.6-ltier V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 available to the civilian population, with former turning out 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and the latter packing 370 ponies and 390 lb-ft. Even loaded down with equipment, Dodge claims the Hemi-powered cop car can hit 60 miles per hour in under six seconds, while both engines are expected return 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode). Rear-wheel drive is standard with both engines, while V8 Pursuits can be fitted with all-wheel drive.

QB says University of Alabama offered him a Corvette to play football

Fri, 16 May 2014

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team could be in some hot water, following a pair of posts on social media.
The first post was sure to raise a few eyebrows on its own. It's an Instagram of sophomore running back Derrick Henry standing in front of his new Dodge Challenger (we're guessing it's an R/T based on the fender stripes). Complete with a custom set of wheels, the image was enough to trigger more than a few questions about where an unemployed student-athlete came up with the money for such a purchase. Now, this could be harmless. Henry, flush with a full-ride to Bama could have convinced his parents to get him something nice with his college fund.
The second post, though, is a straight-up accusation. It comes from former West Virginia Mountaineer and current CFL quarterback Pat White, who posted the following on his Facebook page.
