Make: Dodge

Model: Dart
Mileage: 117,000
Trim: swinger
1972 Dodge Dart 318. It was sitting in a garage for the last 12 years before I got it but I have too many cars and have been selling some off. I put in a new starter, changed the fluids and drove it to storage after getting it home. Its been in covered outside storage now for a month and I would rather see it go to someone to restore or tune up and drive as is. Car runs and drives, but needs a tune up at the very least but it drive excellent. No pulls one way or the other and very tight steering. Ralley wheels, 318 904 auto 117k miles, dual exhaust, power steering as its only option. I believe it to be Bahama Yellow but a faded primer or sealer is on top of the original paint where the previous owner was going to repaint it. I have been over and under this car and there is no bondo and no rust I can find other than where the emblems holes were filled in on the front fenders. Youd be hard pressed to find a better body at any price. The only crease on the whole car is pictured from the rear and its below the pass side tail light on the lower valance. There is also damage to the rear window molding. (looks like they didnt know how to take off moldings with the proper trim tool. Top is original and in good shape, bumpers and grill are in good shape. Interior as you can see has wear on the seat, dash headline and door panels are in great shape except the arm rest, pass door panel better shape than drivers. A very very easy restore or drive as is after a tune. ------I had intentions to restore this car and gathered a 340 727 trans hood scoops and rear wing (not included) but have 3 in front of it for now.

Watch 1,414-hp worth of Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat do stereo burnouts
Tue, 08 Jul 2014When Dodge announced that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would produce 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8, automotive enthusiasts were shocked. The company had promised us that it would be powerful, but no one expected for the muscle car to post even larger numbers than the range-topping Viper.
Car and Driver recently got ahold of two new SRTs and decided that the only proper way to show them off was by lighting up the rears in stereo. With a combined 1,414 horsepower, the pair of them make burnouts from the Hellcat V8 look as easy as breathing. The tires start spinning at the slightest provocation and just don't stop. If you buy one of these, it looks like you and the employees at the local tire store are going to be on a first name basis.
Scroll down to watch these two Hellcats to lay down enough smoke to alert the local hook and ladder trucks.
Mopar '13 Dart priced from $25,485*
Wed, 12 Jun 2013For the past few years, Chrysler's Mopar in-house tuning division has created its own one-off versions of several cars in the automaker's portfolio, including the Mopar '10 Challenger, Mopar '11 Charger and Mopar '12 300. For 2013, the black-and-blue up-do has been given to the new Dart compact, and Chrysler has announced that the limited-edition sedan is now available for order, priced from $25,485, not including *$995 for destination.
Like previous Mopar edition vehicles, the Dart is painted in a signature Pitch Black exterior with an offset blue racing stripe. The sedan sits seven millimeters lower to the ground and gets visual add-ons like a chin spoiler, decklid spoiler and rear diffuser, along with gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Performance wise, the Dart's 1.4-liter MultiAir inline four-cylinder engine remains, producing 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Mopar car gets a sport-tuned exhaust system along with revised power steering calibration and beefier brakes.
Chrysler recalls 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks
Sat, 09 Nov 2013Chrysler has announced that it will issue three separate recalls that will cover as many as 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks for "steering-system tie rods that may have been misaligned during assembly or steering-system service." The vast majority of these trucks were sold in the United States, though some trucks in Mexico, Canada or overseas will be called in, as well.
The largest of the three recalls covers an estimated 842,400 model-year 2003-2008 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. Two smaller campaigns will bring 294,000 model-year 2008-2012 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups, chassis cabs and 2008 Ram 1500 4x4 Mega Cabs; plus 43,500 model-year 2008-2012 Ram 4500 and 5500 4x4 chassis cabs into the dealer to be checked and repaired if necessary.
This is a very large recall, and Chrysler says it is "casting the net wider than necessary to identify those vehicles that require repair." The automaker estimates that "as many as 726,000 may not need repair."
