Drive Type: 1500 since rebuild
Model: Dart
Mileage: 1,500
Trim: GT trim

This dart has been a pleasure project and one I'm proud of.
The engine has 1500 miles on it has a very nice 360 with big
valve small chamber heads, a crane performance cam not too
radical but sounds mean at a red light and produces plenty of torque.
We put a very complete dark metallic blue epoxy paint job the fire wall
looks just as good as the rest of the car. The body was so straight and
rust free it had to get a high dollar paint job so no expense spared there.
The interior is a year and a half old leather and cloth very nice.
The Dart is fast fun to drive the front end is tight and the four speed shifts
great. This Dart needs a head liner and a few smaller details but is a very
solid and straight driver great oil pressure and never over heats.
the clutch is new since the motor swap originally a 273 car.
Check out my pictures and ask any questions you may have.
I require a 500.00 deposit within 24 hrs sent thru paypal.
Shipping is the buyers responsibility and must be picked up
within a week and balance due in cash.

Dodge bringing revamped Challenger, Charger to Big Apple

Mon, 07 Apr 2014 14:28:00 EST

The 2014 New York Auto Show will be a big one for Dodge, as the brand has announced that refreshed versions of the 2015 Challenger and 2015 Charger will debut at the show. This is a particularly big deal for the two-door Challenger which, visually, has remained unchanged since is burst back onto the scene in 2008 and helped reignite the muscle car wars.
As a sort of hint, this announcement was accompanied by the picture you see above - the Super Bee logo in the Challenger's new instrument cluster. According to Dodge, the New York debut of a new "powertrain combination" - possibly with the high-output Hellcat V8 - will leave enthusiasts "abuzz."
As for the Charger, Dodge is promising a full redesign that should be a significant departure from the blunt, angry looks of the current model. At this point, there's no indication that the Challenger's new powertrain could be fitted to the Charger, although considering how mechanically similar these two vehicles have been, it doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility.

Dodge and Jeep recalling 895k SUVs for possibility of headliner fires

Fri, 11 Jul 2014 10:10:00 EST

Dodge and Jeep are announcing recalls of a total of 895,000 Durango and Grand Cherokee models worldwide from the 2011 through 2014 model years. There's a possibility that the wiring in the sun visor can short circuit and cause a fire. It specifically affects vehicles built between January 5, 2010, and December 11, 2013, and there are approximately 651,000 of them in the US, 45,700 in Canada, 23,000 in Mexico and 175,000 outside of North America.
Screws that fasten the sunvisor to the headliner may pierce wires in the visor, if the part has been removed or serviced, potentially causing a fire risk. If the wires short circuit, they could overheat and potentially combust. The automakers report three injuries caused by this defect, and according to the investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, "there may be a total of 52 unique fire incidents."
To fix the problem, Dodge and Jeep will inspect the vehicles for suspect wiring, and all of the models, whether damaged or not, will get a new sun visor spacer with a wire guide to stop the possibility of short circuits. According to the automakers' announcement, "this condition is not present in vehicles which have not had the headliner or vanity mirror serviced." They will notify affected owners, and repairs will begin in August.

2003-04 Dodge Viper recalled for sudden airbag deployment

Fri, 15 Feb 2013 14:14:00 EST

As if driving the old Dodge Viper (not the fancy new SRT model) isn't intimidating enough, imagine trying to wrangle that V10 beast and then suddenly having the airbags deploy. Yikes. That's apparently what could happen to some 3,660 Viper models from the 2003 and 2004 model years, and as such, Chrysler has issued a recall.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, part of the car's airbag control module may fail, causing the bags or seatbelt pre-tensioners to deploy without warning while the vehicle is in operation. That's a dangerous scenario in any car, let alone one offering insane horsepower a near-total paucity of safety nannies should things get squirrely.
Owners will be notified this month about the recall, though a remedy is not expected to be available until later this year. Scroll down for the full NHTSA statement.
