body has 207700 miles on it but doesnt look it. the truck has a replacement motor with 135000 miles. plenty of new parts including radiator, lower radiator hose, thermostat, oil pressure sensor,tps, spark plugs, oil and filter, starter, jba y pipe, 02 sensors, magnaflow cat converter, hughes engine performance plenum plate repair kit, battery, power steering return line, oil pan and gasket, high volume oil pump and pickup tube, serpentine belt, mechanical clutch fan, maybe others that im forgetting. have reciepts for all the parts and havent driven the truck since it was rebuilt besides a test drive up the road and back. truck needs a rear bumper, a rear seat and radio. the body and interior are in clean good condition for its age tho not perfect. sold as is no warranty and is listed for sale locally so i reserve the right to end auction. I purchased this truck 5/7/14 from a Ebay seller, the discription above is from the previous seller, the truck was not as he had described it to me and I decided it was to big of project to undertake, so my lose may be your gain. I drove the truck 14 miles from the transporter, it seemed to ride and run good, from what I can see the Truck needs the following parts/repairs: Exhaust leak at exhaust manifold/y-pipe connection, Rear bumper, Air conditioner parts missing, Radio missing, Rear seat missing, Interior door handles needs repair/parts missing, The interior is dirty, Truck has some body rust that I tried to show in the pictures, The truck has no plates or current registration, Please fee to ask any questions or additional pictures, I don't know much about the tuck but will try to answer all questions. Dodge Durango to stay classy with Ron Burgundy as spokesperson [w/video]
Sat, 05 Oct 2013The upcoming 2014 Dodge Durango has a lot of things going for it, including its 290-horsepower V6 and 360-hp Hemi V8 engine options, an eight-speed automatic and aggressive looks. And now it will have Ron Burgundy, the fictional television news anchor played by comedian Will Ferrell, as a spokesperson, Adweek reports. He follows in the footsteps of other non-fictional Chrysler brand spokespeople such as Eminem, Clint Eastwood and the late Paul Harvey.
Though the star of 2004's Anchorman and the upcoming Anchorman 2 is wildly popular, we're not sure we see a Dodge spokesperson in Burgundy. (Please, no womanizing or scotchy, scotch, scotch before test test drives). But at this point there's no turning back: Chrysler's chief marketing officer Olivier Francois previewed three ad spots at the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Masters of Marketing conference in Phoenix on Friday, and says Chrysler has already filmed 68(!) Durango ads with the fictional newsman.
According to Adweek, one of the ads previewed had Burgundy highlighting the SUV's glovebox size, and in another he compared its horsepower to a white horse standing next to him. Tue, 06 May 2014The onslaught of news from Fiat Chrysler's layout of five-year plans continued with Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis this morning, including the unexpected announcement that SRT was coming back into the fold.
After just a few years existing as an independent entity within the Fiat Chrysler universe, an unceremonious press release hit in conjunction with today's lineup of announcements, saying "the SRT family of vehicles will be consolidated under the Dodge brand." Group CEO Sergio Marchionne thanked SRT headman Ralph Gilles for his dedication to the high-performance wing, calling out is efforts in expanding the vehicle lineup and including more customized models. He did not reference disappointing SRT Viper sales today, but we sense there's a bit of subtext.
With the SRT reunion at Dodge, it's appropriate that some of the most exciting product announcements for the next five years have to do with upcoming performance products. First out of the gate will be a refresh for that flagging Viper in 2015, which comes as little surprise.
Dodge Viper recall requires small-handed mechanics
Fri, 25 Apr 2014It has been over a year since Chrysler first announced its recall of 3,660 2003-2004 Dodge Vipers because the airbag could suddenly deploy. The repairs are finally beginning, and it appears to be a nightmare for mechanics.
According to the automaker's filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag control module can fail, which causes the bag or the seatbelt pre-tensioner to deploy without warning. It took over a year to design the new parts, according to The New York Times. However, Chrysler finally has a new "jumper harness with an in-line diode filter circuit" ready to fix the problem.
The dilemma now moves to the mechanics who have to actually install the part. A 47-step guide from Chrysler explains that the procedure should take about two hours. It's not an easy job, though. Most of the dashboard has to be taken apart, and the instructions include this helpful bit of advice: "Installing the jumper harness and filter box into position is not an easy task. Patience, perseverance, and small hands are required." We wish the best of luck to them. The fix comes just in time for the Vipers to enjoy the summer sun.
