Only 1 set of keys."

The car has NO defects that impact its driveability!! The steering, engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical system all function normally with NO ISSUES. The car is fully driveable.

There are some signs of use, the rearview mirror has wear, there are some small dings on the passenger side, the passenger rear door child safety lock will not disengage, so that door can't be opened from inside the car, only from the outside. Drivers carpet has wear, but mats cover it, center console wiggles if intentionally shaken.

New Brakes and Tires in 2012.  It is extremely powerful, 350 horse, zero to 60 in under 6 seconds, 145 MPH top speed!!  I am the original and only owner. I use as my commuter vehicle so mileage will slowly climb.  Current mileage is just over 90k.  Vehicle has nothing wrong that impacts its driveability!!!

Note to bidders:  I still have a loan payment on this vehicle, If you decide to bid, and you win, I will send the bank the balance of my loan from the money I get from you immediately via electronic payment.  The bank will then release the Title and I can transfer ownership to you.  This means there will probably be a 3-5 business day wait for the title to arrive.  You may take custody of the car, I will give you the keys upon payment, you will not be able to immediately register it until Title arrives. I will hand deliver or overnight the Title to you the day it arrives, depending on how far you live away from me.  You will have to bring plates or have vehicle towed at purchase.

The reserve price is a couple of thousand below the Kelly Blue Book Value for this vehicle in its present condition and mileage. I have also lowered the reserve in consideration that the buyer will have to wait a few days for title to arrive.

I am selling it only because it is too powerful to pass to my teenager, she is not ready for 350 horse.  I will use funds to purchase her something more manageable.

Vehicle will be available for viewing after 5pm on weekdays. Please inbox to arrange a showing.  My zip is 07023.

Vehicle is being offered AS IS, there is no warranty, grace period, or returns.

Winning bidder WILL be permitted to meet me at any auto shop within 5 miles of my residence to have a mechanic look it over on their behalf before final sale.  Buyer must pay cost of that inspection.   Deposit holds vehicle for 1 WEEK.  It will be relisted if no purchase and transfer of control takes place in that time.

NHTSA probing Ram recall pace, communication

Tue, 28 Oct 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that it's looking into Chrysler Group's handling of a pair of recalls affecting roughly one million Ram pickup trucks. Reuters is reporting that the regulatory agency is focusing on the availability (or lack thereof) of parts and "poor communications" from the automaker in its investigation.
"Customers have been advised in accordance with the regulations governing recalls," Chrysler spokesman Eric Mayne told Reuters via email. "We are continually replenishing our supply of replacement parts. Chrysler Group regrets any inconvenience our customers may have experienced."
NHTSA disagrees, arguing that the recalls, which affect 972,000 trucks from 2003 to 2012, are being delayed by the lack of parts.

2019 Dodge Challenger Hellcat with twin-scoop hood spied with no camouflage

Mon, May 7 2018

Dodge recently teased an updated 2019 Challenger SRT Hellcat sports coupe complete with an all-new hood with dual scoops. It didn't reveal anything else about the vehicle, saying more details were coming. And now we have more details, but not in the way Dodge probably wanted. We can now see the updated Hellcat with the new hood. To be perfectly honest, it's pretty much what we expected. The teaser photos indicated that the hood was the only major body change, and this car confirms it. The rest of the body is identical to a normal Hellcat. The bumpers, grille mesh, even the wheels are all standard Hellcat parts. Even the slotted rotors and Brembo calipers look the same. This car does suggest that the hood will be available on both the narrow-body Hellcat and the Hellcat Widebody, the latter of which was featured in the teaser images. There is actually one other minor difference on this 2019 Hellcat's exterior, and that's the grille badging. There's now a vintage-style badge with "Challenger" written in script off to one side. Currently only one grille and badge design is available on Hellcat, and it features just the SRT Hellcat logo. It appears the SRT badge is still present, but blocked off on this prototype. So it's possible this new badge comes with the new hood as a sort of retro package for Hellcat. We should have all the details on this and other 2019 Challengers when the car is officially revealed later this summer. The Hemi deserves to die | Opinion

Thu, Apr 14 2022

Hi. I'm Byron and I love V8s. I want them to stick around for a long, long time. But not all V8s are created equal, and I will not mourn the passing of the modern Hemi. You shouldn't either. While we may agree that its death is untimely, if you ask me, that's only because it came far too late.  Stellantis’ announcement of its new, turbocharged inline-six that is all but guaranteed to kill off the Hemi V8 has led to quite a few half-baked internet takes. The notion being suggested by some, that automotive media were brainwashed into believing the Hemi was in need of replacement, is so far divorced from reality that I openly guffawed at the notion. Journalists have been challenging Chrysler, FCA and now Stellantis for years to deliver better high-performance engines. The response has always been the same: “Why?” Why replace a heavy V8 with a lighter, all-aluminum one? Why repackage powertrains for smaller footprints and better handling vehicles? Why be better when “good enough” sells really, really well? I too mourn the departure of good gasoline-burning engines, but since when was the Hemi one? HereÂ’s a quiz: Name every SRT model with an all-aluminum engine. TimeÂ’s up. If you named any, you failed. They donÂ’t exist. This isnÂ’t GMÂ’s compact, lightweight small-block, nor is it a DOHC Ford Coyote that at least revs high enough to justify its larger footprint. The Hemi is an overweight marketing exercise that happened to be in the right place at the right time. That time was 2003, when Chrysler was still Chrysler — except it was Daimler-Chrysler and the "merger of equals" was doing a bang-up job of bleeding the company's cash reserves dry while doing virtually nothing to address its mounting legacy costs. "That thang got a Hemi?" was emblematic of the whimsical, nostalgia-driven marketing of the colonial half of the "marriage made in heaven." That was 20 years ago. 20 years prior to that, emissions-choked American V8s were circling the drain faster than a soapy five-carat engagement ring in a truck stop sink.
