The one you have been waiting for. This car has never been for sale except for when it sold

new at a dodge store. I purchased this car over 15 years ago from the original owner. This R/T is the real deal it is matching numbers from the motor to the rear end. This car is 100% factory stock except for the horrible paint job that was put on it before i bought it. the factory color is bronze metallic which you can see in the photos where the original paint is still on it. The other thing that impressed me about this car there is  no rust, there is some surface rust as you can see in the photos. The trunk is solid. the floors are solid. the rocker panels are solid so there is just a little surface rust.I have all the original interior, seats, and door panels which i removed a while ago to check the floors and other common areas where these chargers have rust. you will be getting all seats and door panels with the purchase of this R/T. The car ran perfect when I parked it about 10 years ago. I am sure it still runs great I just need to do a few minor things. I always thought I was going to restore this car but after 15 years it just isn't going to happen. the car deserves a better owner it is too solid and too rare of an R/T to just be sitting in someones yard. I doubt you will ever find another true 2 owner 1968 dodge charger R/T 440 again like this. This is going to break my heart I know I will never find another one but like I said it deserves a better owner. for more information please call 5037569708. I have a lot more to say about this R/T charger so please serious inquiries call me I can better describe this R/T charger than I can in email. Thank you again and whoever gets this one will have a dodge of a lifetime.

If you have 0 feedback do not bid on this car unless you call me. I repeat 0 feedback don't bid. we don't need flakes on ebay.1000.00 deposit due within 24 hours of auction and full payment due within 3 business days

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat #0001 raises $825,000 for charity

Sun, 28 Sep 2014

$60,000 doesn't strike us as a lot to pay for a muscle car with 707 horsepower on tap. $825,000... now that's a different story. But, according to the official SRT blog, that's how much one generous and eager buyer paid for the privilege of getting his (or her) hands on the very first new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
Decked out in Stryker Red paint that's usually reserved for the Viper, the supercharged Challenger bearing the VIN 0001 went up for auction at the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino in Las Vegas on Saturday under the auspices of Barrett-Jackson. By the time bidding ended, the gavel dropped at $825,000 - nearly 14 times the sticker price - 100 percent of which will benefit Opportunity Vehicle, a charity that aids the intellectually handicapped in the Las Vegas Area.

Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat in the works

Fri, 25 Jul 2014

In Autoblog's recent First Drive of the 2015 Challenger SRT with the 707-horsepower Hellcat V8 we found its engine to be as brutally powerful as the numbers would suggest, even if it wasn't the best handler. However, the muscle-car-styling just isn't right for some buyers that need four doors and proper rear seats to haul around the family. It appears that Dodge has their backs, though, because the Hellcat is very likely on its way into the Charger in the near future. Imagine the looks on your passengers' faces when you stomp down on the throttle.
According to Road and Track, when Dodge submitted the Hellcat for engine power certification to the Society of Automotive Engineers, the company included the Charger on the paperwork. That showed that the automaker wanted the engine checked out for the sedan, too. R&T reckons the 707-hp Charger would hit the road about a year from now, clearing the Challenger for a year of exclusivity with the powerplant.
When the Charger SRT Hellcat does hit the road, it may carry a very special accolade. Assuming nothing beats it in the meantime, it might be the world's highest horsepower production sedan. Think on that for a second. Even a Mercedes S65 AMG only has 621 horsepower, though a good bit more torque at 738 pound-feet to the Dodge's 650 lb-ft. So while the beastly engine is getting put into other models, where else would you like to see it? The Ram? Grand Cherokee? Let us know in Comments.
