Needs trunk pan, floors look good, hood and doors are in great condition, best hood Ive seen in years. factory undercoated car so frame rails are in great shape, body in very good shape nothing really I saw ( in my opinion)for major rust issues that would bother me in the least and I have restored 2 car already from the ground up. I have most all the parts for the car but i have never really gone thru the boxes after 5 years. there may be some small stuff missing but is pretty complete. Would like to see this go to a good home and be brought back to its former glory. I do not want anyone to be unhappy, thus my 100% feedback. So if you win the auction and decide it was not as described Ill gladly refund your money minus the listing/other charges I incurr. Shipping will be up to the winner but as always will be glad to help in any way including hauling the car to you for a few $. Please ask any ?'s you may have as I know i'm fogetting some things people may want to know. More pix coming soon. have a title here but have to find it, I'm not a good organizer. Added 3 more pix, interior, dash for the car. the window fuzzies on these panels do not need to be replaced. Dash is a 3 speaker dash. All numbers on car match the dash vin as well. Have to check the door vin but there is no reason it wont match to. I have added some pix of another car i need to sell, that is an all #'s matching 1970 challenger 383 rt se quad green car with build sheet. needs more work that the ek2 car. There are 3 known triple green 383 rt se cars when i last check after buying this car. Cant be too many quad green ones. Green longitutual stripe, exterior, interior, green vinyl top and rare green hood treatment. if interested please contact me at 563-650-9233 concerning either car. Remenber the listing is for the 440 car and the 383 is just for the curious buyers, Thanx and good luck...............................Mike

Chrysler recalling 278,222 trucks and SUVs over bad rear axles
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Chrysler has issued a recall of 278,222 light trucks and sport utility vehicles here in the United States. The reason: bad rear axles. Specifically, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the rear axle pinion nut may lack a necessary adhesive patch, which could cause the nut to loosen. If this happens, the axle can lock up, which could cause all sorts of havoc on the road.
This is an expansion of the rear axle recall announced in October of last year, where 44,300 Ram 1500 and Dodge Dakota models were being called in. At that time, 12 accidents had been reported due to the faulty axle pinion nut.
Affected vehicles include Ram 1500 trucks from the 2009 to 2012 model years, Dodge Dakota models from the 2009 to 2011 model years, and both the Chrysler Aspen and Dodge Durango SUV twins, both from the 2009 model year only.
2014 Dodge Dart Blacktop glosses over performance
Tue, 14 Jan 2014The Dodge Dart is a decent little car. It's honest, basic transportation, and many of us at Autoblog are genuinely fond of the Alfa Romeo-based compact sedan. For 2014, not a whole lot changes in the Dart world, save the addition of this new Blacktop edition that makes its debut here at the Detroit Auto Show.
It's all very simple, this Blacktop package, and doesn't actually alter performance in any way. Instead, buyers are treated to blacked-out exterior bits like 18-inch wheels, the crosshair grille and headlamp bezels. Inside, black/tungsten or black/red cloth seats are available, with red contrast stitching throughout the cabin.
Adding the Blacktop pack to your Dart SXT with the Rallye Appearance Group will set you back a scant $295, and while it's just an appearance package, it all looks pretty nice to us.
Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
