  • Power windows, power mirrors, front and rear air conditioning & heat, cruise control, power steering, power brakes, outside temperature & compass, Infinity Sound system with Kenwood CD radio.
  • Vehicle floor has about a 7" drop giving about 53" headroom in front passanger area
  • Vehicle has driver and passanger side sliding doors. The passanger side sliding door is operated by the control switches, and once fully opened, the ramp will extend out by continuing to operate the switch.
  • The passanger side of the vehilce has a "kneeling" function, lowering the whole side of the vehicle, if desired to reduce the ramp drive up angle.
  • Has type "A" floor tiedowns for wheelchair throughout (no tie down straps included), also has EzLock in front passanger area.  The EzLock is inoperative and will need repair.
  • I have repaired the wiper system to run with the information found on the internet in the picture: Wiper Fix.jpg  This repair results in High and Low speeds working, but no intermittent wiper functions.
  • The drivers door unlock switch function does not operate consistently reliably, often immediatly re-locking the doors.  The drivers door can not be unlocked from the outside without setting off the alarm.  The passanger door switch and lock functions work properly.
  • The vehicle has some minor door dings and dents consistant with vehicles of it's age.

Italian government to lean on Fiat's Marchionne to commit to country

Sun, 26 May 2013

With the recent chatter that Fiat is looking to move its global headquarters to the US following a complete merger with Chrysler, the Italian government is voicing its opinion on the matter. Facing the potential job loss from the automaker leaving the country, Italy's industry minister is meeting with Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne in what will likely be a plea to keep the company based in Turin rather than moving to Auburn Hills, MI - if indeed it is able to acquire the additional 41.5 percent of Chrysler currently owned by the United Auto Workers.
According to Bloomberg, Fiat is Italy's biggest private employer and unemployment is already nearing a 20-year high. The non-car side of Fiat, Fiat Industrial, is already planning a move to the UK, so it goes without saying that Fiat moving would be a pretty big blow for the Italian economy. In the article, Fiat says that the headquarters issue is "not on its agenda now," but that statement is far from a denial.

2015 Chrysler 200 caught looking good after leaking out

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

We can't yet share all the details on the 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan, but we can direct your attention to the image above, which was published by the boys at Jalopnik after Chrysler reportedly let it out by accident. As you can see, the new 200 will be a nicely styled piece of machinery.
According to leaked documentation, the 2015 Chrysler 200 will come with the buyer's choice of a 2.4-liter Tiger Shark four-cylinder engine with 184 horsepower and 173 pound-feet of torque or a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 boasting 295 horses and 262 lb-ft. Those ponies will be routed through a nine-speed automatic with a rotary gear selector, sending power to the front wheels. Alternatively, a high-tech all-wheel-drive system will be available that can electronically disconnect the rear axle, saving fuel.
Speaking of fuel efficiency, the 2015 200 will be able to achieve up to 35 miles per gallon on the highway, which is an impressive figure for this class. An on-sale date has yet to be announced, but the next 200 will start at $21,700 (plus $995 for destination) when it does finally hit dealerships.

Detroit automakers gain market share simultaneously for first time in 20 years

Wed, 01 May 2013

While monthly sales figures might be an easy way of tracking the progression of the auto industry and individual automakers, looking at market share might be more indicative of how each company is actually standing up against its competitors. For the Detroit Three automakers, they have collectively lost almost 30 percent of the market over the last 20 years, but now, for the first time since 1993, Ford, General Motors and Chrysler have each posted market share gains at the same time.
According to Automotive News, Ford's share increased the most by 0.7 percent, GM was up 0.5 percent and Chrysler rose marginally by 0.2 percent, giving the Detroit automakers a total market share of 45.6 percent. As for the Japan's Big Three, the article reports that Toyota is up by 0.7 percent, Nissan is down the same amount and Honda has seen "little change."
