113,384 Miles NO service or check engine lights! Recently Serviced New front Brakes Recently installed and charged the air conditioner and it is ice cold! had a bad bearing so i replaced the entire unit. Top is in good condition and works perfectly! There is about 1 inch of thread that is loose on the top, the top is double lined and does not leak. The car is clean inside and out. no dents, no tears, stains or rip on the interior interior received a thorough cleaning, seats and carpets had a deep cleaning Minor chips from rocks on the hood, hard to see, no dents Everything works perfect Engine is quiet Normal wear for an 8 year old car. The rear bumper had a crack, Replaced the bumper but it will need to be painted, the car is silver but the bumper is gray. The car is sold AS IS, there are no known issues with the vehicle! this is an 8 year old car and is used. It is in great condition but is not new There is a $300.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit required. Chrysler purchases remaining shares from VEBA Trust, announces funding plan
Thu, 23 Jan 2014It's official: The Detroit Three is now The Detroit Two and The Fiat Subsidiary, Chrysler. Both the Italian carmaker and The Pentastar announced the completion of cash payments and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on future payments necessary to make the Chrysler Group a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fiat. As previously detailed, Chrysler made a cash payment of $1.9 billion and Fiat North America made a cash payment of $1.75 billion to the Voluntary Employment Benefit Association (VEBA) run by the United Auto Workers union.
On top of that, Chrysler Group signed an MOU that agrees to payments of $700 million to the VEBA in four installments, the first of which was made concurrently with the other cash payments. And for you trivia mavens, the full name of the UAW is the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles gets officially official this Sunday
Thu, 09 Oct 2014Want a chunk of the new Fiat Chrysler Automobiles? Shares of the newly joined (technically) Dutch automaker will begin trading on Monday on the New York Stock Exchange. The company itself will become a single entity on Sunday.
According to The Detroit Free Press, the new FCA will be the world's seventh largest company after Fiat shareholders' chance to oppose the merger expired on October 4. To prevent the merger, shareholders would have needed to exchange at least 500 million euros in shares for cash.
On Monday, current shareholders of both Fiat and Chrysler stock will see their shares converted into an equal number of FCA shares, the Freep reports.
Chrysler recalling 700k minivans and Dodge Journey for ignition switch woes
Tue, 01 Jul 2014General Motors isn't the only automaker with ignition switch problems. Chrysler is fighting it too and is now announcing a recall of 695,957 examples worldwide of the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans from the 2008-2010 model years, plus the 2009-2010 Dodge Journey.
According to a statement from Chrysler, the models have a bad wireless ignition node detent ring in the ignition switch, making it possible for drivers to appear to have the key in the "Run" position but for the spring not to fully engage. It can then slip back to the "Accessory" position and shut the car off. If this happens, the vehicle loses power steering, brake boost and the airbags.
There is some disparity about the number of vehicles affected under this recall. In its statement, Chrysler claims that it covers 525,206 vehicles in the US, 102,892 in Canada, 25,591 in Mexico and 42,268 elsewhere. However, the recall announcement posted by The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration lists an estimated 438,109 vehicles in the US. Chrysler spokesperson Nick Cappa told Autoblog via email that the reasoning for the different figures "will become clear at a later date."
