Overall nice car, Had a rebuilt title when I bought it. I bought car w 86-7K mileage, and it currently has 94K. Since I've owned (3 years) I have replaced upper Ball joints and Lower arms and Joints, Muffler, All 4 wheel bearings, Pads and rotors, Oil every fall....it's a spare car and does not get enough use. Conv. top is fully functional, back window was replaced b4 I got it. Top is in excellent cond. for age of car. Runs and drive excellent!! Only issue was A/C pulley quit this spring, and I replaced w/ new pulley, just didn't like sound of it so I pulled guts out, and use it like and idler pulley ( Works fine) Who needs ac when U have the top down anyway. Has some rust along bottom of Pass. door, and at the rear of driver side fender. If you want reliable transportation, this car is low mile and fun. sale is as-is. Come and drive it away, or for a fee I can deliver to you. (North east region) You won't find one for this price that's been better maintained.

Marchionne completed Fiat-Chrysler deal from a Florida beach
Fri, 03 Jan 2014Sergio Marchionne is the CEO of Fiat, which as you may have heard, has finally worked up a deal to finish acquiring the Chrysler Group after months of bargaining with the United Auto Workers and its VEBA healthcare trust, which owned just over 40 percent of the American brand. Where was Marchionne when the deal was finally hammered out? Well, not tucked away in a frigid Detroit board room until the wee hours of the morning.
Nope, one of the largest deals in automotive history was reportedly hammered out on the beach - at the home of a banker, in the Florida resort town of Vero Beach. Marchionne traveled to the home of Alain Lebec, a senior managing director at Brock Capital LLC, one of the advisory companies for the VEBA fund, where both sides met to make final arrangements in the $4.35-billion exchange. The location of the final deal, though, is nearly as remarkable as the pace with which it came about.
According to anonymous sources pinned down by Automotive News Europe, before the meeting, the two sides were meeting in Detroit as recently as December 19, which is where Fiat made one of its final revised offers. Naturally, the VEBA made a counter offer, which led Marchionne to initiate the Vero Beach meeting.
Fiat ups Chrysler stake by 3.3%, inches closer to full control
Mon, 08 Jul 2013Fiat is one step closer to completing a merger with Chrysler after exercising an option to acquire an additional 3.3 percent of the Auburn Hills-based automaker today. Automotive News reports that Fiat now controls 68.49-percent of Chrysler, which is up almost 10 percent since we last heard news of this deal back in February when Fiat talking to various banks to raise more capital in order to complete the acquisition.
The article says that Fiat is still able to increase its stake in Chrysler up to 75 percent over the next 12 months, but it sounds like CEO Sergio Marchinonne would rather purchase the remaining shares from VEBA - the retiree benefits trust - sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, the two sides still seem far from an agreement on a fair price for the rest of Chrysler, as Fiat has them valued at $4.2 billion compared to the $10.3 billion estimate from the unions that currently own the remaining stake in Chrysler.
Chrysler 300 diesel could get green light
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Word has it Chrysler is keen to shove its new turbo diesel V6 into a range of models. Wards Auto reports Chrysler President and CEO Saad Chehab has made it clear the automaker is investigating the possibility of using the 3.0-liter oil-burner in the 300. While speaking at an Automotive Press Association luncheon, Chehab said, "It's a matter of how much the customer is willing to pay for that premium. That's the only issue with it."
The Chrysler 300 is sold as the Lancia Thema in Europe complete with a diesel of its very own, and since the Jeep Grand Cherokee is now available with the diesel V6 here in the States, it only makes sense that the engine could potentially show up on the 300 order sheet. Opting for the 3.0 V6 in the Jeep Grand Cherokee will set you back an additional $4,500, however.
Chehab also said the engine could make an appearance in the next-generation Chrysler 200, which is set to debut next year.
