2006 Chrysler Pt Cruiser Touring Wagon 4-door 2.4l on 2040-cars
Gastonia, North Carolina, United States
This Cruiser is in Good running condition. It has a few minor issues such as a minor scrape on the driver side rear door, a minor bump in the front bumper, and also the interior fabric could use a good detailing. Mechanically, the driver's side CV joint may need attention as well as the remote pad does not lock/unlock the doors [RKE (Remote Keyless Entry) module has failed]. These are all very fixable issues and is also why we're selling so low. (KBB has this vehicle valued at $4808.00 for Private Party Sale)
I originally financed this car for my wife back in 2012 however we have since purchased another vehicle for her to drive and I will be purchasing a new vehicle for myself to drive next week so we will need to get out from under this loan. I respond rapidly to emails as I keep my phone on me at all times so please don't hesitate to contact me. Once auction is won, I will provide phone contact information to buyer if needed. Payment only by Money Order/Cashiers's Check. No deposit required at auction win, however please provide tracking information for payment within 3 business days of auction win. I will arrange shipment of the vehicle anywhere in the US however the buyer is responsible for shipping costs. Expect to acquire vehicle first and then title a few days later as I will have lender forward title directly to the address of buyer. |

Fiat pondering swallowing rest of Chrysler, US IPO
Wed, 24 Apr 2013At the moment, Fiat is in court with the United Auto Workers, waiting for the justice system to provide some guidance on a fair price for 41.5-percent of Chrysler it doesn't own. Fiat owns 58.5 percent of the company and wishes to buy the remainder, which is owned by the union's VEBA retiree trust, but the Italian company and the UAW are on different sides of the galaxy when it comes to assigning a fair price to that outstanding stake.
Naturally, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne is considering his options. A new report in the The Wall Street Journal says one of the scenarios being considered now is - depending on the outcome of the court case - to purchase the 41.5-percent stake and then issue an IPO to recoup some of the cost. About two months ago, Marchionne put the odds of an IPO for a wholly combined Fiat/Chrysler at 50 percent. Even with the WSJ report, it's not clear if those odds have changed.
The current company structure leaves a lot of options as to how a potential IPO could be issued, but it's said that Marchionne is against it, preferring "to be one company," under Fiat, indivisible. If Fiat is finally able to purchase all of the Pentastar, it would get access to Chrysler's war chest, pegged at $11.9 billion at the end of Q3 in 2012, and that money can't come soon enough for a brand taking a beating in Europe and delaying product over cash concerns.
What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car name
Thu, 07 Aug 2014
The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?
Chrysler 300 diesel could get green light
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Word has it Chrysler is keen to shove its new turbo diesel V6 into a range of models. Wards Auto reports Chrysler President and CEO Saad Chehab has made it clear the automaker is investigating the possibility of using the 3.0-liter oil-burner in the 300. While speaking at an Automotive Press Association luncheon, Chehab said, "It's a matter of how much the customer is willing to pay for that premium. That's the only issue with it."
The Chrysler 300 is sold as the Lancia Thema in Europe complete with a diesel of its very own, and since the Jeep Grand Cherokee is now available with the diesel V6 here in the States, it only makes sense that the engine could potentially show up on the 300 order sheet. Opting for the 3.0 V6 in the Jeep Grand Cherokee will set you back an additional $4,500, however.
Chehab also said the engine could make an appearance in the next-generation Chrysler 200, which is set to debut next year.
