HERE IS A 2004 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER LIMITED EDITION THAT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  IT WAS PURCHASED BRAND NEW IN MARCH  OF 2004 AND I HAVE BEEN THE ONLY OWNER OF THIS VEHICLE.  THE CAR HAS BEEN VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND THE INSIDE IS LIKE NEW.  THE BRAKES WERE JUST REPLACED A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO AT THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED IT.  THIS IS A NON-SMOKING VEHICLE, PARKED IN THE GARAGE WHEN NOT IN USE.

THE EXTERIOR HAS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED AS WELL.....WASHED WEEKLY AND WAXED THREE TIMES A YEAR.  THERE IS A SMALL DING ON THE LEFT PANEL (SEE PIC) FROM A GROCERY CART THAT SOMEONE RUDELY PUSHED INTO IT A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO.  IT WOULDN'T TAKE MUCH TO FIX IT.

THE CAR HAS AIR CONDITIONING, AIR BAGS, LATCH-READY CHILD SEAT ANCHOR SYSTEM, REAR DOOR CHILD PROTECTION LOCKS, POWER RACK AND PINION STEERING, 15 GALLON FUEL TANK WITH TETHERED CAP, FRONT STABILIZER BAR, REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER AND REAR WINDOW WIPER.  ALSO, THERE ARE POWER FRONT WINDOWS WITH ONE-TOUCH-DOWN FEATURE, TILT STEERING COLUMN, AIR CONDITIONING, REAR 65/35 FOLD AND TUMBLE REMOVABLE SEAT, SIX PREMIUM SPEAKERS, 12-VOLT POWER OUTLET LOCATED IN THE CENTER CONSOLE, STEREO THAT HOLDS 6-CD DISCS, LEATHER WRAPPED STEERING WHEEL, HEATED SEATS, POWER MIRRORS, SECURITY ALARM, REMOTE KEY LESS ENTRY WITH PANIC ALARM, OVERHEAD CONSOLE WITH COMPASS AND TEMPERATURE, POWER MOON ROOF WITH EXPRESS OPEN FEATURE, FOG LAMPS, BRIGHT EXHAUST TIP, 16-INCH CHROME CLAD SIX-SPOKE ALUMINUM WHEELS, CHROME FUEL FILLER DOOR AND MORE!

AS YOU CAN SEE, THIS CAR HAS MANY, MANY FEATURES.  IT HAS A 15 GALLON FUEL TANK AND IT AVERAGES 19 MILES TO THE GALLON IN THE CITY AND 26 MILES PER GALLON ON THE HIGHWAY.  YOU CAN ALWAYS E-MAIL IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, TOO, AS I DID NOT LIST EVERY LAST FEATURE OR I WOULD RUN OUT OF ROOM.

I DO HAVE THIS CAR FOR SALE LOCALLY, SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS LISTING EARLY IF IT SHOULD SELL LOCALLY.

I LIVE IN MICHIGAN,  THIS IS  FOR LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY.  IF YOU WANT TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO HAVE IT PICKED UP OR SHIPPED, PAYMENT MUST BE CLEARED BEFORE THE CAR WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THAT AND OF COURSE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EXPENSE TO DO THAT.  I WILL MISS THIS CAR, BUT WE HAVE 5 VEHICLES IN OUR HOUSEHOLD AND IT'S TIME TO DOWNSIZE.

Chrysler appoints new heads of Alfa Romeo and Ram

Mon, 18 Aug 2014

Chrysler has announced to two key appointments to its senior leadership, both of them taking immediate effect. First up is Reid Bigland, who has been named head of the Alfa Romeo brand for North America. Bigland has served until now as head of the Ram Truck brand, a portfolio he now hands over to Robert Hegbloom, who had served until now as its director.
As a result of the appointments, both Bigland and Hegbloom will take up seats on Chrysler's NAFTA Leadership Team, and Bigland will also join the Fiat Chrysler Group Executive Council - the highest decision-making body in the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles empire.
As per Sergio Marchionne's leadership style, Bigland will continue to serve in two major capacities, maintaining his role as president and CEO of Chrysler Canada. Other senior executives who hold multiple key portfolios include Harald Wester (who serves as the group's Chief Technology Officer and also overseas Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Abarth), Olivier Francois (group Chief Marketing Officer and head of the Fiat brand) and Michael Manley (head of the Asia-Pacific region and the Jeep brand).

Chrysler Town & Country plug-in hybrid minivan coming in 2015

Mon, 06 Oct 2014

Among the multitude of models that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles announced as part of its five-year production plan in May was a plug-in hybrid version of the Town & Country minivan for sometime in 2016. However, according to the latest pronouncement from company CEO Sergio Marchionne, that timetable may have been moved forward quite a bit.
Marchionne told Automotive News at the Paris Motor Show that the PHEV minivan would now be launching in late 2015. That strategy does seem a bit confusing, though, because the next-gen platform for the T&C isn't supposed to hit the road until sometime in 2016, according to the plan. So it's not clear whether the boss means the PHEV rides on the current chassis or if the new model is going on sale early.
The technology underpinning the new plug-in hybrid has been shrouded in mystery. However, during the five-year plan meeting, FCA claimed the model could earn fuel economy figures around 75 mpge. Chrysler previously tested a 25-unit fleet of them as part of a demonstration test in Auburn Hills, MI, in 2012, but that didn't go so well.

Chrysler fires protest organizer at MI assembly plant

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

Chrysler has reportedly fired a Warren Stamping Plant worker for what the company is calling a violation of its code of conduct. Alex Wassell (left), a 20-year veteran with the automaker, was suspended without pay after he was quoted in an article in The Detroit News. The 63-year-old welder repairman helped organize a demonstration against a new work schedule and was protesting outside the Michigan plant on February 28 when he was interviewed. Chrysler then fired Wassell when the paper published his comments. Wassell, has since filed a grievance and says that he's looking for an amicable settlement between his union and his former employer.
Meanwhile, multiple civil liberties groups have spoken out against Chrysler's decision to dismiss Wassell. Both the National Lawyer's Guild and the American Civil Liberties Union have released statements on the situation, with the ACLU saying "Employees have a right to air their grievances, even if that means a public demonstration or a comments to the media."
According to The Detroit News, Chrysler spokesperson Jodi Tinson said that Wassell was fired for "engaging in activity constituting or appearing to constitute a conflict with the interest of the company."
