This vehicle is in great shape, all-round. Most of the miles on it are highway miles. I purchased the vehicle directly from my Father, the original and only other owner. He used it to get back and forth from the train station. I used it to travel back and forth from College after that. Now I live in Chicago and use public transportation to travel, finding little use for a car in the city I've decided to sell it.

The car has a small dent on the hood, as annotated in the picture. It's hardly noticeable on the vehicle, and it's only aesthetic. It doesn't impact anything structurally or mechanically. Other than that, there are a few little dings on the car (mostly on the bumper as annotated in the pictures) barely noticeable as well. They can probably be buffed out anyway, but again they're hardly noticeable either way. Also, the driver side floor mat is worn, with a slight hole in it. Other than that, the car is in fantastic shape.

I recently purchased new tires, new front brakes (new pads and new rotors), as well as a new battery. The car is routinely maintained with regular oil changes, and has also recently passed the State of Illinois' vehicle emissions test, which is good through July 2014.

The car is a smoke-free, and well kept environment. It has two sets of keys, and two key-less entry devices.

Shipping and Payment:

After winning the auction, the buyer must deposit $500 in 24 hours. Then the buyer must make their full payment, within 7 days of the auction concluding. Once the vehicle is paid in full the title will be signed over and notarized to the buyer who can then pick up both title and the vehicle immediately thereafter.

Chrysler nets $1.6B income in Q4, Fiat profit up 5%

Chrysler announced its 2013 financial results today and unveiled its new name and decidedly bank-like logo. Amid the announcement, Chrysler posted big gains in income, while Fiat didn't perform to analysts' expectations.
For 2013, Chrysler had revenue of $72.1 billion, up 10 percent from 2012. Net income reached $2.8 billion, a 65-percent increase. It was the company's third straight year of annual profits.
In terms of unit sales, Chrysler sold 2.4 million cars worldwide in 2013, up 9 percent. According to Automotive News, 1.8 million of those vehicles were sold in the US, a 14-percent increase. The sales growth boosted Chrysler's US market share to 11.4 percent, up 0.2 percent.

KBB 2013 Brand Image Awards has some obvious and oddball winners

The sixth edition of the Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Awards have crowned a wide range of winners - in a couple of cases the recipient of the laurels might say more about KBB users than they do about the actual winner. Compiled from the responses of more than 12,000 shoppers on KBB.com over the past year, there are 13 categories broken into non-luxury, luxury and truck segments "representing the combined wisdom of the American car-buying public."
The award categories have been revamped this year, with some dropping off, some new ones appearing and at least one other given a new term. What isn't surprising is that Honda won Most Trusted Brand for the second year running, Best Value Brand for the third year in a row and took Best Overall Brand, which wasn't on last year's list of awards.
On our own shores, in the non-luxury categories Chrysler got Most Refined Brand and Buick took Best Value Luxury Brand. Neither one of those marques won anything in last year's Brand Image Awards, while Cadillac, which won Best Interior Design Brand and Best Comfort Brand last year - those awards disappeared this year - went home without a single accolade.

Chrysler recalling 31k SUVs and vans

Chrysler is issuing recalls covering roughly 31,700 vehicles worldwide due to two separate problems. In both cases the company believes that most of the affected vehicles are either still on, or in transit to, dealer lots.
One recall covers roughly 10,700 Dodge Durango, Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee SRT models from the 2014 model year built between January 16 and April 17, 2014. The SUVs need a software update for the cruise control. It's possible that when the cruise is on and the driver presses on the throttle, the acceleration could last a second after the pedal is released or two seconds for the SRT. Afterward, they return to the speed originally set by the driver.
Chrysler says it isn't aware of any accidents, injuries or even reported incidents of this happening in the real world. Also, in all cases, if the driver presses on the brake, the cruise shuts off. The automaker believes that there are about 6,100 affected SUVs in the US, 950 in Canada, 425 in Mexico and 3,200 outside of North America. The software upgrade will be ready shortly, the company says.
