1988 Chrysler Lebaron Premium Convertible 2-door 2.2l on 2040-cars
Saint Charles, Missouri, United States
1988 Chrysler Lebaron Convertible 2.2 liter turbocharged engine, automatic transmission, second owner, originally from Florida. This car is super clean, low miles 50,532 Enough miles to know it was used to keep everything working fine. The convertible top is very quiet when driving, and does not leak a drop of water. Everything works, cruise control, a/c is cold, power windows and locks all work. There is a cover for the convertible top when it is down, color matched to the car. The rear window is glass not plastic and has an electric defroster built in. The tires all have at least 2/3 remaining tread. The car has plenty of power while maintaining good fuel economy. Nothing has been altered in any way, the car has everything it came with originally. Such as radio, no added lights, no loud exhaust(which is the original stainless steel) This car will become a real collectors item in this condition. There are not many of these around.

Jeep Renegade's development a template for new Fiat Chrysler Auto
Wed, 24 Sep 2014
"We figured we'd take the best of both worlds." - Ralph Gilles.
The international makeup of the 2015 Jeep Renegade will serve as a template for cooperation within the newly formed Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Senior Vice President of Product Design Ralph Gilles said.
Bailout dealership cuts did their job as profits surge
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Almost five years after US taxpayers bailed out General Motors and Chrysler, a large majority of their slimmed-down dealership networks are posting soaring profits, Bloomberg reports, and contributing to the US auto industry on track this year to deliver 15.4 million vehicles, the most since 16.15 million were delivered in 2007.
Consider another important figure: Bloomberg says that more than 90 percent of GM dealerships are profitable, compared to about half of them in 2008 and 2009. At the start of 2013, GM had 4,355 US dealerships and Chrysler had about 2,600. Compare that with just a few years ago, when GM had 6,246 dealers in 2008, while Chrysler had 3,200 in 2009.
As part of their bankruptcy restructuring, both GM and Chrysler decided that their retail networks contained far too many dealerships and insisted that they be slimmed down. The resultant dealership terminations followed by a rebounding auto market - in part due to better new GM and Chrysler vehicles - have increased the number of sales per dealership to record levels. Many dealers are taking advantage of increasing profits and investing in facility renovations and updates, such as Chrysler dealership owner David Kelleher. He's spending $2 million to expand his store.
Chrysler recalling 49K Chargers for headlight components
Fri, 14 Mar 2014Chrysler has issued a recall for about 49,375 2011 and 2012 Dodge Chargers with halogen headlamps due to a problem with the lights. The automaker says that there could be an issue with the jumper harness and other related components.
The automaker says that 43,450 cars are affected in the US, 2,850 in Canada, 375 in Mexico and 2,700 outside of North America. The vehicles will have their headlight assemblies, including the jumper harnesses and bulbs, inspected and potentially replaced. Dodge says that its engineers investigated reports of that were similar to what was found when it recalled about 10,000 police Chargers in 2012 for overheating light components. There have been no injuries or accidents related to fault, according to Chrysler.
The automaker will be in contact with affected owners, and schedule the service. Naturally, any repairs will be free of charge. Scroll down for the company's full announcement.
