This 1975 Imperial Lebaron was Chrysler's luxury plus model. Like the one here white leather interior in beautiful condition. Flawless dash, perfect headliner and super clean trunk. This Imperial has 4 wheel disc brakes, 440 V8 with brand new 4bb carb. Electronic ignition and torsion bar suspension. Mileage is 113,946. The engine has new timing chain and new water pump and  and runs perfectly plus the engine bay is super clean. Power everything and all working including clock and am/fm radio, Power seat for driver and passenger. Paint 5 years old like new and a perfect vinyl matching roof. Chrome excellent including grill with no pitting. Always garaged. A turn key auto to drive anywhere. Extremely comfortable sofa seating; Perfect dash and interior has color..no boring grey or black like todays cars. The best feature is the 4 wheel disc brakes (rare in 1975) with new pads so the stopping power there when needed. This Imperial was the centre fold feature car in their brochure. I will post more photos in next two days showing the under the car clean bottom. Low reserve. Thanks for reading this far. This is a 4 door hardtop with perfect glass and all power windows work. Car has AC. There is some paint bubbles on lower panel on drivers side and just above mud flap on passenger side as shown in the two pic's. Rocker panels are solid with good paint. Local body shop said they could clean up these two small areas for around
$500. Any questions just email me.

2015 Chrysler 200 production gets underway [w/videos]

Mon, 17 Mar 2014

Chrysler announced recently that it has added some 800 new jobs at its Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP) to support the production of its all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan. Total employment at the Sterling Heights, MI plant grows to almost 2,800 with the hires, an impressive figure for a plant that was slated for closure in 2010.
Speaking to a crowd of employees and community leaders, Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne was on hand to celebrate the kick-off of 200 production last week. "We're making a big bet on its success," said Marchionne of the sedan, "we've invested nearly a billion dollars in this facility."
That billion-dollar bill has been used to construct a spanking new paint shop, install a new body shop and install "machinery, tooling and material-handling equipment" according to the Chrysler press release. The company says that SHAP now runs to nearly five million square feet of manufacturing space - loads of room for all the new employees to do their thing - and that the facility can handle multiple vehicles on two unique architectures.

Chrysler 200 subtitles performance in latest round of advertising

Mon, 27 Oct 2014

Every once in a while, we come across a car video narrated in a foreign language and subtitled in English. They usually center on foreign-made automobiles, but this latest series of videos comes straight from Detroit.
Airing for the first time during's NFL broadcasts, these four commercials for the 2015 Chrysler 200 were produced by Wieden + Kennedy Portland - the same advertising firm that created the now-legendary Eminem spot for the last-generation 200.
Each clip in the "Ready to Take on the World" campaign highlights a different aspect of the American sedan and is narrated in Japanese, German or Swedish - each with English subtitles - associating the 200's Japanese level of quality, German performance and Swedish safety standards. But while the clips are ostensibly set in Japan, Germany and Sweden, Automotive News reports that they were actually filmed at home in the US.

Fiat Chrysler target 850k sales in China by 2018

Sun, 11 May 2014

Behind the vanguard of numerous Jeep models, two Chryslers, a smattering of Fiats and Alfa Romeos and local production through a joint venture with Guangzhou Automotive Group (GAG), Fiat Chrysler wants to increase sales in China more than six-fold by 2018. The group sold 130,000 cars in China in 2013, the aim for 2018 being 850,000 cars.
Ultimately it's expected that the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Wrangler, Renegade, the coming Grand Wagoneer and a sub-Renegade-sized crossover will either be built in or exported to the People's Republic. The Chrysler Town & Country and 300 will join the export list in 2016 and 2018 respectively, according to a report in Automotive News.
With a number of those vehicles not in production or perhaps even envisaged yet, and others not due on the local market until 2018, it will be interesting to see how Fiat Chrysler plans to achieve the target in the specified timeframe. The joint venture with GAG builds two products now, the Dodge Dart-based Fiat Viaggio launched two years ago - supposedly designed just for China - and the just-launched Fiat Ottimo, a hatchback version of the Viaggio. Fiat projected 300,000 Viagio sales in its first two years, that number has been adjusted downward to 94,000 and there doesn't appear to be an analyst alive that sees a good future for Fiat in China's overrun mainstream market. Still, last year's 130,000 group sales in China is a huge jump from 2012 sales of 66,000 units, but less than half the 300,000 units it projected.
