2008 Chevrolet Uplander LT. My wife just picked up a GMC Acadia and says she is done with the Minivan/Soccer mom role.It has a good size dent in the rear lift gate. I did get an appraisal on getting it fixed for $600. It is about the same price to grab a used door from a junkyard. My wife came out of a store and it looked like someone backed into the van, no note or anything. There is also two small dents in the front of the hood, they were there when we purchased it. Also, sometimes and not all the time, the engine light comes on with the ABS light and traction control when you first start it up. Other times it starts up and the dash board lights are clear? I don't understand that but anyway, She has been driving it everyday with out any problems. The interior is in decent shape, there are some stains on the seats that can be shampooed out, you can see them in the pics. I was going to have all these issues addressed before listing so I could maximize profit. I decided to list it a lot lower and maybe save myself some time and taking much less. The transmission has been rebuilt last October 2013 (with 107,000 miles) and has a 3yr/50,000 mile Warranty, 100% Parts & Labor. Also has brand new Front tires and decent rear tires.  As with any vehicle listed online It is best to come see it for yourself if possible. This van has been good to our family of four. We purchased it off a family in Bolton Massachusetts back in October 2011. It has been kept inside the garage when it is home. The automatic sliding doors sometimes have trouble closing on their own, I took out the fuse and use them manually like back in the old days :-) , I am sure it can be fixed as well. If you have any questions at all or would like some pictures of different angles, please let me know. Thanks!!

Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting? Vote in our poll below, then feel free to leave a few lines in Comments.

Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...
