Offered for sale is a beautiful 2010 Chevrolet Traverse LT Sport Utility 4D AWD vehicle. Midnight blue exterior, gray interior. I am the original owner and have taken excellent care of this vehicle, with frequent oil changes and maintenance every 4,000 miles or so, and with no major problems over the past four years. The vehicle currently has about 98,600 miles, and I have recently invested about $2,000 in it to take care of all 100,000 mile maintenance requirements. The car is now ready to pass on to a great family for its second 100,000 mile journey. This Traverse is the LT Sport Utility model with four doors and hatchback, V6 engine, all wheel drive (and performs impressively in the snow), seats up to 8 with a fold down third row, automatic transmission with 6 speed overdrive (excellent pick up), excellent cargo space, traction control, StabiliTrak, ABS, Air Conditioning front and rear, power windows, power door locks, power steering, cruise control, tilt wheel, AM/FM Stereo and XM satellite, optional Onstar, parking sensors, dual and side air bags, power seat, privacy glass, and more. The vehicle is in very good to excellent condition by Kelley Blue Book standards. Kelley Blue book estimates the value of this car, in this mile range and overall condition, to be between $14,600 and $15,200. Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel destined for Chicago debut
Mon, 28 Jan 2013It's been a little over a year and a half since General Motors first confirmed plans to offer a diesel-powered Chevrolet Cruze here in the United States, and we've now learned that the oil-burning compact will debut under the lights of the Chicago Auto Show in February. According to GM Authority, the Cruze Eco-D will be introduced as part of the entire 2014 model year Cruze range, set to go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
Earlier reports have indicated that the diesel Cruze will be able to achieve fuel economy numbers in the range of 50 miles per gallon. For comparison, the similarly sized Volkswagen Jetta TDI is rated at 30/42 mpg city/highway, but as we found out in our long-term test of the 2011 model, hitting 50 mpg was a piece of cake.
Official specifications will be released at the time of the 2014 Cruze's unveiling, though reports have stated that the sedan will be powered by a reworked version of the 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-four found in the Holden Cruze CDX overseas. In that application, the four-pot oil-burner produces 160 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque - increases of 20 hp and 29 lb-ft over the 2.0-liter engine used in VW's Jetta TDI.

General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
