This Custom Tahoe is like you would see on a tv show getting tricked out .It Runs like new and with its dual exhaust sounds bad ass. It has a 5.3 with auto trans with extremely low millage because it was not a daily driver this was used as a show car.A/C will freeze you out Has over 20 custom built speaker boxes throughout the interior. The entire interior was dismantled sanded painted to match exterior  then reassembled.  All doors hold 2 speakers each center console has 2. Speaker box behind rear seat hold 4 including space for 2 woffers. even 2 behind the front grill. The veh. was used to display high end stereo equipment that"s where the logo amped up comes from on the rear window. There was over $10,000.00 spent on the interior alone the best being a 2 tone alligator skin seats door panels and headliner.  Then there is all the fiberglass work the custom oversized chevy logo in the grill .custom running boards that wrap around to the rear bumper that is fitted for the dual exhaust. The emerald green paint job really gets the attention and is a chick magnet. Every where you go people break out their cell phones to snap photos.I promise it is one of a kind and is in excellent condition has no rust and spent all of its life in fla. There are new 24 inch low profile tires that have less than 100 miles on them mounted on status rims togther over  $ 3000.00 worth. I can help with shipping after the sale either by picking up an out of state buyer at airport . Or with delivery, cost and details can be worked out upon completion of sale..You have to realize if you paid between 12 to 15 thousand you would be getting the truck for free with over $18000.00 in custom work you would save a fortune if you were to do it yourself. go to a custom car show ask how they have hundreds of hours customizing a lot of them have spent over $60,000.00 to get to this point.dont let this get away its your chance  to own a ONE OF A KIND. It has a clear title and is ready to go.

Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]

Mon, 29 Apr 2013 10:15:00 EST

Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.

GM claims it's first to sell million 30+ mpg vehicles

Fri, 04 Jan 2013 11:31:00 EST

As we continue to put together all the data for the year-end edition of By The Numbers, General Motors has announced that it sold more than a million vehicles in the US last year that achieved at least 30 miles per gallon on the highway. More impressively, GM managed this feat using multiple strategies including small vehicle size, turbocharged engines and hybrid or plug-in technologies across four brands (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC) accounting for 13 separate models. This number will grow even more in 2013 thanks to cars like the all-electric Spark, the diesel Cruze, the range-extended Cadillac ELR and the Buick Encore compact CUV.
GM's small car sales were up 39 percent last year helping to attain this million-sales mark for 30-mpg models, and almost 40 percent of all GM sales consisted of cars with fuel-efficient I4 engines. In regards to more advanced means of improving fuel economy, GM says that it plans on having 500,000 vehicles with "some form of electrification" on the road by 2017.

Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]

Thu, 13 Dec 2012 20:01:00 EST

Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.
