This is the nicest 2003 4x4 Tahoe you will find anywhere! This is NOT an average vehicle. This is not just an above average truck. This is the one that used car buyers dream about! As near to perfect as a used car gets!

Here's the story....This truck was sold new to a little old lady at Dick Shirley Chevrolet in NC. She always kept it garaged, and serviced it at the dealership per their recommendations. And you know how that goes...service overkill!! Oil changes every 3,000 miles etc etc. It was never involved in any kind of accidents, and it was washed in, out and UNDER regularly. There's not even any surface rust on the suspension and undercarriage. Now, if you think this sounds like a lot of "Bullxxxx", just look at the pix! I looked long and hard for one in this condition, and jumped on it when I found it in November last year. It had 125,000 miles on it when I bought it, and it now has 136,339. I gave it what it was accustomed to, servicing it every 3,000 miles, and the nearly new Michelins have been rotated once. They now have about 80% life left in them. Now, I am driving while it is listed, so the mileage will change, but not much.
There is nothing on this beauty that is in need of attention or repair. Everything works as it should, and it rides like a new one. The A/C is ice cold, all options and equipment work perfectly. The stereo is the upgraded Bose system, and is my favorite part of the truck. What sound quality!  The only way to beat this thing is one of those $5000+ "thumper" systems that custom cars get!!!...Shown in one of the pix are the 2 auxiliary MP3 plugs that can be used for iPod,satellite receiver, etc. The ONLY possible complaint one could make is the repair made on the driver's seat as shown in the photo. Like all scars, though, it adds character....and the one little rock star on the windshield shown in the photo (hint: look in the dark green tree area).
The factory Z-71 wheels are perfect and shine as new. All system components work perfectly. Drive train, electronics, all power features, no problems at all. The original sticker price of this truck was $45092, as it was loaded.(see pic of sticker) If you have ANY questions, please ask.
Now, I have to ask you to be absolutely serious about this truck before committing to buy through your bid. I am selling for 1 reason...I am getting a company car and no longer need to provide my own car. I don't want it to just sit in the garage and maintain insurance, property taxes etc etc .I have no reason to keep it, but one thing is for sure...I don't HAVE to sell it, so PLEASE no low balling on price offers. This truck is NOT average, it IS exceptional!!   And,Yes,it still has that new car smell!
If you are looking to STEAL one, this is not the truck for you, but if you are looking for the nicest one you can find, that needs nothing, this one is for you!

                                   Don't you deserve the Best?

Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own

Tue, 22 Jan 2013

It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.

Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

If you want a closer look at what went into designing and building the interior for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, we've got just the thing. General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.
