1999 Suburban 1500 4 wheel drive LT model. 164k original miles runs fine 4 wheel drive works NO RUST ISSUES nice frame and underside. Interior is starting to crack up and is not perfect but not hateful either. This was a local trade-in at out dealership and I have personally drove it the last 500 miles or so even to pull my boat once. Transmission shifts smooth and firm no issues the check engine light is on I scanned it and it needs a TPS sensor ($20) 5 minute fix. Also after driving a while the service 4wd light will come on. Nothing is wrong 4wd works fine and there is no grinding or any noises transfer case is quiet have not looked into that but after almost 500 miles I never had an issue with the vehicle and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Pint is good a few minor nicks and scratches but over-all is in good shape and again NO RUST ISSUES. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION so bid to win ! A $500 Deposit is due 48hrs after auction end with balance due within 5 days. Vehicle has been described to the best of my knowledge and runs and drives without any issues. I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime vehicle is for sale locally as well. Vehicle is available for inspection come see and drive for yourself. We also offer delivery at buyers expense. Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product.
