This is a Really Rare 1955 Chevy 1st Series Suburban / Carryall. This is a Really Solid suburban with No rust. It has clam-shell back doors, Has a trans am front clip with trans am rear end. its the same as a camero just that it has disc brakes front and back. It has All 3 of the correct seats,All chrome and stainlees has been re-chromed or polished,I have all wheather striping all new in plastic bags.It is currently in paint shop getting ready to be painted Black (now is the time to buy if you're going to want a different color besides black, so we could tell the paint guy) The paint Job is already paid for.This Suburban is already registered in CA. and has been put on non operation status. This is a picture of what it looks like done but this one has the 1954-1955 1st series grill. This blue Suburban is a picture of how nice they look when put together . keep in mind thar this is not a more common 47-53 Suburban. I have never seen a 55 1st series Suburban nor heard of anybody having one.

When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.

General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
