A beast of a Suburban. Mechanically it runs, shift and drives VERY strong, it's an ex-county K9 unit so you know all servicing was done properly. I bought this as a toy to haul and play with, but it has been my daily driver for almost a year now. It needs some cosmetics as you can see in the pictures. The front bench seat torn by driver. I started taking the rear headliner and some of the rear interior trim pieces out to fix up the interior alittle (still have pieces I took out in my shed) but decided to stop incase someone wanted something different.. It needs paint, body has no dents (a few scratches), is very straight. It was originally paint the 2-tone red on bottom/white on top when it was used for the county and the guy I bought it from painted it all red but used cheap paint. Ice cold AC and red hot heat. It has a Viper alarm and remote start (came in very handy during this winter!!). I just installed a new CD player so I can use my iPod, the chrome nerf bars and new tail lights. I drive this daily on the interstate and it does 80 no problem.  This is a VERY cool SUV to either fix up or would be an awesome work truck.

This is for sale locally also, so I might end auction early if it sells.  Feel free to email me any questions and leave your cell number and I'll get back to you.

It's listed as a Chevrolet Suburban but it's a GMC.  Really no difference but a couldn't figure out how to change it once I started.

Chevy exec confirms SS production model reveal at Daytona on Feb 16

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

The 2014 Chevrolet SS will make its racing debut for the 2013 Daytona 500, but the production version of the car will get its official unveiling on February 16 in Daytona, a week before The Great American Race. According to a report by Automotive News, the reveal has been confirmed by Jim Campbell, Chevy's US vice president of performance and motorsports. With the departure of the Dodge Charger, the new Chevrolet racecar will be the only competitor to feature a V8, rear-wheel-drive layout in both street and NASCAR form.
NASCAR fans will be able to see the new fullsize performance-oriented sedan on display in the festivities leading up to the Daytona 500, but the car won't go on sale until later in the year. The Australian-built Chevy SS will be a low-volume performance model, and it will be priced above the 2014 Impala, which starts at $27,535.

Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
