Don't miss you chance for a barely broken in 2001 Dually Duramax Plow Truck.  I bought this truck for my landscape company 5 years ago from TEXAS.  I bought the plow two years ago and just love it.  Its always been stored inside my heated shop in winters and plowed with last two season.  The mason bed has a flap to where you can hook up a fifth wheel, the mason bed will hold about 4cu yards of mulch and Ive never had problems dumping 4-5Tons of gravel.  There are TWO 25 gallon fuel tanks, one under the dump bed and one that can be filled on the side, holds lots of fuel so less time at the gas station!  It automatically pulls from both tanks too.  There is a backup camera that is HARD WIRED which comes in handy when plowing.  The plow is a Boss V-XT Poly!   I bought the truck with 90,000 miles on it out of texas so I have not rode it hard the time I have had it.  The AC blows COLD and the batteries are couple years old but matching and were replaced at same time.  The front tires are a season old, the rears all 4 are brand new.  This truck is ready to work!  I have tire chains for the back rear dually wheels that come with auction.  I only had to use the chains on a property that had a steep incline for semis, besides that you dont need chains for regualr plowing.  We would get 10" of snow and it would work right thru it no problems!  Its a monster in the snow with or without chains.  Behind the cab is a big box for storing tools, its very nice to have all your supplies in the back and leave the dump bed clear or have all your material in there.  I did get this truck detailed every spring so paint is in good shape for a work truck.  Clear coat is all there in glossy shape.  2 5/16 truck ball on back and 7 way plug with brake controller.  I have title in hand  I am not looking to break the truck/plow combo up at this moment.  Please text me at 2603855193 for questions.  or thru ebay for fast response Untitled Untitled Untitled image image image For sale 2001

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra debut all-new designs, three new engines

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

General Motors has finally dropped the curtain on the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra. Both trucks have undergone substantial revisions with updated versions of the company's 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 engines. In a shot across the bows of both Ford and Chrysler, GM says it won't use a V6 engine adapted from passenger car applications. Instead, it developed the 4.3-liter engine based on its proven truck-duty architecture.
All three mills will boast direct injection fuel systems as well as a new cylinder head design. Combined with a revised piston, the new engines feature a smaller combustion chamber with a compression ratio of 11:1 or higher depending on the application. Cylinder deactivation and continuously variable valve timing are all part of the recipe, and each engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with auto grade breaking. So far, no fuel economy or horsepower figures have been released, though GM says the new engines will best their predecessors in both areas.
Outside, the trucks feature a number of enhancements to reduce drag and wind noise, and GM claims both the Silverado and Sierra will offer buyers some of the quietest cabins in the class. Extended cab models now feature front-hinged rear doors to allow easier access to the back passenger area, and Crew Cab buyers can now select between a five-foot, eight-inch bed or a six-foot, six-inch bed. Buyers with a mind toward going off road will also rejoice in the return of the Z71 package, complete with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and additional under-body protection.

Subprime financing on the rise in new car sales, leasing too

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

We all remember the financial crisis that began several years back. At its core was a splurge of subprime lending for housing loans. The housing bubble burst, triggering a collapse of the mortgage-backed securities market. Apparently, those types of loans still exist in the automotive industry, and the market share for these types of "nonprime, subprime, and deep subprime," loans has grown 13.6 percent compared to the third quarter a year ago.
According to an Automotive News report, high-risk lending expanded to 24.8 percent of total loans in Q3, up from 21.9 percent for this time last year. As this level increased, average credit scores of borrowers dropped to 755, down from 763 a year ago. In that time, the average financing amount increased $90 per vehicle, to $25,963.
At 818, Volvo maintains the highest per-owner credit score, while Mitsubishi has the lowest, at 694. The highest rate of borrowers was at Toyota, with 14 percent of the market, followed by Ford with 13.1 percent and Chevrolet at 11.1.

Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.
