Duramax & Allision, One Owner Bought New ,low Miles 81679 Clean Maintained Trk on 2040-cars
Eolia, Kentucky, United States
you are looking at a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado HD 2500 w/LT package 4 door crew cab, im am the original owner of this trk, bought brand new. The truck has the big duramax diesel engine 360 HP 650 trq. and the Allison auto. trans. that's in great shape. trk is really clean and very well maintained I have maintance records on this trk since day 1. This truck has never been smoked in carpet and floors always been covered seats n door panels look good as new with the exception of a door light lense on rear pass door missing, also has tinted windows and after market XM satilite radio with subscription paid up bout 6 more mths. over all inside give a 9 out of 10 must see to really appreciate. Now for the body its a 4 door crew cab with Silverado trim has aftermarket bushwacker fender flares on it been professionally painted to correct paint code on trk also has billet grill (some paint chipping off grill) and has billet bowtie added to grill and has billet cover over third brake light and has tail light covers on now and have head light n park light covers go with it. The body has no dents or rust anywhere never off road all highway miles it does have usual nicks and gravel chips at bottom fenders n bed sides and maybe few minor scrathes if any but very clean neat well cared for trk for a 2007 model with very low miles 81679 truck is mostly garaged and drove very little. It also has $700 worth new copper 285/75/16 tires on it 2 mths ago and 2 new batterys mth ago also has extang bed cover that has a small tare in it bout 2 inches and has aftermarket step bars on it , inside bed has scrathes n scuff as its never had a liner but cover has been on it since new also has brake box in it for trailer brakes and have extension mirrors for towing goes with it. also just to be honest good selling ebayer as you can see my feedback the truck has had a bed side put on it when it had bout 2500 miles on it, IT WAS NOT IN NO ACCIDENT it got backed into sitting in my driveway damage was very minor but I insisted on a whole new side you would never see or know it unless told it jus want to be honest and descried it best I can. Clean average price on NADA for this truck is $28,000 ive priced under that at buy now for $26000 these trucks are getting hard to find in clean condition low miles like this one you want find a cleaner nicer low milage duramax this model for the $ nowhere! Im sure I forgot few things maybe pics of trk speak for itself but feel free to ask any questions, serious buyers can call/text 606-335-1580 anytime I do have this trk for sell in other places so auction could end anytime so if your interested don't wait. To the winning bidder I will need a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hrs of auction end and the remaining balance due upon pickup. truck is being sold as is. happy bidding............... |

GM takes heat for aborted Silverado riff on 'Boston Strong' at World Series
Thu, 31 Oct 2013During game five of the World Series, Chevrolet was set to do a spot of marketing for the 2014 Silverado - fans at Busch Stadium in St. Louis would hold up placards that spelled out the words "Silverado Strong," a theme that Chevy has been promoting since the Silverado's launch with the song "Strong," by Will Hoge. The St. Louis promo was ultimately called off, though, over concerns that it'd be insensitive to the visiting Boston Red Sox. (You can see the image of what the stunt would have looked like above, courtesy of one timely Reddit user.)
Now, the Busch Stadium stunt might not have been a big deal, had the St. Louis Cardinals not been playing the Boston Red Sox. Following the tragic events in Boston during the marathon back in April, the phrase "Boston Strong" gained traction among the city's citizens, especially at sporting events. So, you can imagine that Chevy's appropriation of the phrase might not sit well with some fans.
The stunt was ultimately shelved after images of the signs went viral before the game, leading to a bit of a public backlash. Chevy spokesperson Michael Albano said of the promo that it was meant to show the brand's "commitment to baseball and its fans." But after the images went viral, the company "realized there was the possibility that we may offend some of the very fans we were trying to honor," Albano told Automotive News via email.
Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray
Fri, 25 Oct 2013We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.
