We will add a $200.00 dealer prep charge to the final sale price. If a
vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close, we reserve
the right to charge a reasonable storage fee. You may pay the purchase
price with cash in person, with a cashiers or certified check or
bank-to-bank wire transfer. These forms are acceptable for the deposit
as well, and we will accept PayPal for the deposit only. If you are the
winner, a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the end of the
auction is sufficient to hold the vehicle until the remainder can be
sent or car is picked up. If these forms of payment are not acceptable,
please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (7) days
thereafter. If you are seeking financing, please be sure to hold off on
your bid or offer until your funding has been approved. You are
responsible for your own finance arrangements so please take care of
them before bidding or making an offer. We recommend that you do not
send payment via regular mail. We have experienced lost checks several
times. We recommend that if you are sending payment, that you use

During game five of the World Series, Chevrolet was set to do a spot of marketing for the 2014 Silverado - fans at Busch Stadium in St. Louis would hold up placards that spelled out the words "Silverado Strong," a theme that Chevy has been promoting since the Silverado's launch with the song "Strong," by Will Hoge. The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction. Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition. But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
