I have for sale a 2012 Silverado 1500 LTZ 4X4 in MINT condition. Truck has 17,600 miles, but I am still driving the truck once and a while so it may change a little. Truck is loaded. Heated leather, steering wheel controls, center console, 17" wheels. I have added the following, 2" rough country leveling kit, tinted windows, peragon aluminum tonneau cover powder coated black ($700), premium Linex bed liner with UV Protection so it won't fade ($600), Billet aluminum bow ties on front and back. Truck was serviced at the dealer since new with Mobil synthetic. Their is nothing wrong with this truck, it is basically new, only reason I am selling is because I bought a 2500HD. I purchased this truck new from a dealer in November of 2012, so the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty is still remaining. Buyer is responsible for pickup at my location in Liberty Center Ohio. Payment as stated in Ebay details is cash or certified check from a bank, I will only accept the DEPOSIT through paypal. I do have a clear Ohio title in hand. Thanks for looking

GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.
C7 Corvette turbo with 1,000 horsepower promised from Hennessey
Mon, 25 Feb 2013If you can't wait for the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Hennessey says they will have you covered. The Texas-based company has announced it will offer a spate of upgrades for the 2014 Corvette ranging from a range of bolt-on options all the way up to a 1,000-horsepower, twin-turbo system. Buyers can start with a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust or stainless steel long-tube headers, but Hennessey says it will also offer up three stages of forced induction mayhem should those bits and baubles not provide enough thrust.
Those choices start with a supercharger system good for up to 700 hp, though Hennessey will gladly ditch the blower in favor of two turbos. Doing so will spin the crank to the tune of 800 horsepower all the way up to a certifiably ludicrous 1,000 ponies. There's no word on how much these tricks will cost you - or when they will be available, as we're guessing they haven't gotten their hands on the car yet - but you can head over to the Hennessey site to drop them a line if you're curious.
