Up for auction is a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ Extended cab 4x4.

5.3 Vortec V-8, Automatic O/D transmission, push button 4-wheel drive. Maroon exterior with a gray cloth interior.

This truck runs & drives great. The engine is powerful and smooth, and the transmission shifts perfectly. The 4-wheel drive works flawlessly.

This vehicle has a rebuilt title. That means that at one time, it was involved in an accident and determined to be a total loss by an insurance company. It has since been fully repaired and inspected. You will have no problems licensing and insuring this truck as it is currently licensed and has full coverage insurance.

We purchased this truck in November of last year and have had no problems with it whatsoever. It is currently driven daily and will continue to be driven until the auction ends.

The exterior is in good condition. There are minor blemishes here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 10 year old vehicle. The interior is also in good condition. There's no rips or tears in the seats or carpet.

Everything works exactly as it should. The only exception is the HVAC blower motor, which doesn't work on the highest setting. All other settings work.

There is a Pioneer CD player and front speakers installed in the truck. The original radio has a CD stuck in it. It will be included in the sale.

We have owned this truck for about a year and have only driven it 5,000 miles. In that time it has never failed to start or otherwise perform flawlessly. It has no warning lights on the dash, no funny noises or smells, or other "quirks".

This vehicle is available from now until the end of the auction for inspection and test drives. If you would like to do either, contact me through ebay and we'll set something up.

This is a NO RESERVE auction. The high bidder at the end drives it home.

There is a $250 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit due within 24 hours of the auctions end via PAYPAL. The remainder of the winning bid is to be paid in CASH at the time of vehicle pickup. Pickup is to be no longer than 7 days after the end of the auciton. I can store the truck as long as needed within reason, but it must be paid for in full within 7 days after the end of the auction.

Shipping is not being offered on this vehicle. It is to be picked up in person by the winning bidder. If you require shipping, you must arrange it yourself. I will do my best to be available and to assist your shipper in any way possible. However, I WILL NOT be responsible for any damages incurred during shipment.

I don't know what else to say about the truck other than that it's been good to us and i'm sure it will be good to you. I would not hesitate to drive it on a cross-country trip tomorrow.

Can A Fleet Queen Become a Fullsize King?
On paper, the Chevrolet Impala is a pretty strong seller, posting annual sales that have hovered right around 170,000 units for the last two years, but it only takes one trip to practically any rental car agency to discover where the majority of those sales have come from. In fact, General Motors told Autoblog that a full 70 percent of Impala sales last year went to fleet companies for things like rental cars and government vehicles. Logic tells us that this is neither good for resale values nor name equity, so Chevrolet is getting ready to roll out an all-new Impala with improved comfort, styling and technology, hoping to turn the tables on its retail-to-fleet ratio.
Chevrolet's sedans have come on quite strong in the last few months with the introduction of the Cruze diesel and the SS sedan, but while these will likely be low-volume sellers, there's more pressure for the new Impala to perform well as GM looks to slash fleet sales and compete with the wide variety of full-size sub-luxury sedans. Riding on a platform shared with the Buick LaCrosse and Cadillac XTS, the 2014 Impala will compete against the Hyundai Azera, Ford Taurus and Toyota Avalon on the more traditional side, while also looking to take a bite out of somewhat sportier models like the Chrysler 300/Dodge Charger twins and the Nissan Maxima. Full Disclosure: in my younger days, I loved nothing more than tormenting passengers with my behind-the-wheel hijinks. Once, after a particularly artful handbrake turn on a two-lane at around 50 miles per hour, I left one backseat occupant crying in their own lap. This isn't necessarily something to be proud of, but it gives you a glimpse into why it is that I find this ad from Pepsi so damn disappointing. The premise is beautiful. Take NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon, give him a disguise and set him loose upon some unsuspecting used car dealer. Hilarity ensues.
Except that this Pepsi Max commercial is so obviously staged, it can't help but feel like some ham-fisted marketing fail. From the strategically placed aftermarket cupholder mounted mid-dash for the hidden camera to the fact that the supposed dealer Camaro is displayed as a 2009 model (Hint: Chevrolet didn't make any), this clip is about as organic as a Twinkie. Still, we would never turn down a chance to watch Gordon thrash on a rental-spec coupe - only problem is, he probably didn't even do the driving himself. Check it out below.
