Not in perfect condition, but a daily driver that is driven 512 miles each week to and from work with no issue.A few dings and scratches, but overall, the truck is in average condition for its age. Clear coat is also starting to fade on passenger side of bed. However mechanically, it performs well above-average. Motor was replace at 103,000. Odometer reads 247xxx. Push button 4x4 works perfectly, and is only used once or twice yearly whenever is snows here is southeast, TN. It is also equipped with towing package. Tear in driver's seat. Everything works as it should, including power locks, seats, and doors. also has heated seats and tires look good with 80-85% tread remaining. It has 4 doors that open, unlike most this body style with 3. Previous owner did cut a hole in the bed to change fuel pump. I've seen it done to hundreds of these trucks, and I hate it, but it does make the job 200 times easier. PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?
Thu, 21 Feb 2013When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
