Here is a 59 Chevy Pickup.. Hot Rod.... Clear Calif registered title in non-op. 78.Camaro Sub-frame beautifully done. Power steering,custom steering shafts,Power disc brakes (under cab) detailed chassis, rotors, calipers, new brake lines & brakes throughout, front sway bar. Chassis has been completely detailed & sits nice & low all around. 81 Camaro10 Bolt rear w/new mono leafs & new brakes. Brake lines, hubs, axles, backing plates all detailed & painted. Entire truck has been undercoated incl fenders. Firewall partially filled & detailed,newly bead blasted inner fenders (not shown). Cab floor & top insert prepped & primed, top of dash prepped. Shaved front bumper along with grille & light bezels painted off white. Power booster, master cylinder, residual valve relocated under floor (not Installed) (need remote resovour) .New brake pedal & pad. New trans cover (steel).. Body is very nice & straight with small digs here & there, new primer & guide coat throughout incl bed. Cab is extremely nice. Will need new passenger door or new bottom skin (rotted thru), also a spot at bottom of inner door hinge area. Patch panels already installed at rear & back areas of cab. Rear fenders have a small crack at a rear mounting hole (can't see). Dash is nice & unbutchered, top prepped w/trim piece, bottom needs prepping & one small hole filled. Hood was stripped inside & out for 100 louvers. Extremely nice w /only a couple small areas needing work.(re-primed w/out louvers added) (can easily remove primer at center for louvers). Many parts have been detailed & painted.....New gas tank & sending unit, new mounting pads, newer mounting straps(painted), gas filler (painted), hoses & stainless cap,new custom trans mount (painted), newer gauge unit & chrome bezel, new gauge lens,new heater temp/defrost switches & chrome bezel(expensive),newer stainless parking bezels & new lenses & gaskets, new partial wiring harness,newly blasted & primed inner fenders (gorgeous), new starter switch w/2 keys,new cab mounting set, new bed bolts,new inner fender rubber mts, (newly painted & installed mounts to cab),(1) new inner fender to fender r/seal, newly painted & installed hood hinges & all under hood mts, newly detailed & painted large radiator brace/mount & cover (cover in silver/gray & gorgeous),new radiator r/mounts, (1) used radiator, (2)new firewall rubber inserts for wiring,newer chrome w/washer bezels, nuts & r/seals,newer wing window handles, springs & r/seals, (1) new wing window channel w/chrome trim,(2) new rubber door bumpers,new inside window handles & r/seals,newer inside door handles & r/seals,newly bead blasted & painted vent covers w/ new gaskets,newly painted license plate holder(frt),newer stainless dome light base w/wiring & new bulb,new mohair mounting felt, newer outside chrome door handles & r/seals, one new chrome lock button & spring, newer headlight switch & knob, dimmer switch, used glove box & screws,new perimeter door rubber seals (both),new hood to cowl rubber seal & clips,newly painted parking brake handle & used hardware, (2) small horns, (1) new exhaust cover, (2) bucket seats,newly purchased used front windshield w green tint, new side glass, new window felt, new steering u- joints, shafts & rag joint, older Gm column now mounted w/spllined shaft (needs new one), (4) newly painted inner fender braces, headlights w/wiring, newly detailed power booster, master cylinder, residual valve & all brake lines & power steering pump. Nice older heater also included. Note: Some parts are not "completely" bolted together (finish) and will be delivered that way, and will need buyer to finish as needed. Needed to finish....
Motor, trans & drive-shaft ,steering column & wheel, seats mounted, some nice wheels & tires, front & rear shocks an other small misc parts. (Will include minor parts list & company w/order form ready to order, about $300.00). 2014 Chevrolet Silverado tows in new configurator, microsite
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Judging by your continued enthusiastic response to configurator notices, dear reader, you enjoy speccing out new cars as much as we do. Better still, there tends to be even more ways to personalize, configure and bloat theoretical MSRPs on full-size trucks as there are with more ordinary passenger cars. In addition to trim level, engine and transmission choices, truck buyers usually have to specify items like cab configuration, bed length, number of driven axles, tow packages, gear ratios and all sorts of bits and bobs.
That's why we're pleased to see the DIY specification utility for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado come alive so soon after this week's Detroit Auto Show debut. While the configurator lacks pricing (General Motors hasn't announced numbers yet) and full options, you can still spec out your half-ton rig, and even print it out or email it to your friends. Beyond the configurator, the new model-specific site is pretty cool, too, with various videos and closer looks at the truck's new features.
The new Chevrolet pickup range won't be on dealer lots until sometime this summer, so whether you're a building contractor, an avid sportsman or just a guy or gal that loves full-size trucks, you might want to check out the link below to keep your appetite whetted. If you're more of a Sierra fan, well, it looks like you're going to have to wait a while - GMC hasn't updated its site yet.
C7 Corvette makes inaugural ad appearance in Chevy's first spot with new slogan
Mon, 11 Feb 2013Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" tagline has finally been run into the ground, replaced with the Bowtie brand's "Find New Roads" slogan that's part of parent General Motors' plan to unify its everyday brand's marketing efforts worldwide. The new Chevrolet campaign was ushered in on prime time last night during the Grammy Awards on CBS, and the first spot, a 90-second full-line ad, also marks the first appearance of the 2014 Corvette Stingray in a commercial.
Being a full-line ad, the commercial is composed of vignettes centered on different vehicles in the brand's lineup. The all-new 2014 Impala also makes its first commercial appearance in dapper fashion, and time is spent on a skateboarding Sonic and a bouquet of brightly colored Spark hatchbacks driven by fashionable women. The ad starts and ends with Chevy's green halo car, the Volt, along with a young girl with her robotic dog (yes, really).
Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" campaign got off to a rocky start in the fall of 2010, but it did last for a couple of years with some tweaks. This new one, "Find New Roads" seems more intent on drawing new customers into the fold than the outgoing tagline, which seemed to play more toward the brand faithful. It admittedly reminds us more than a little the short-lived "Find Your Own Road" Saab motto (which, we note, was conceived while the Swedish brand was under GM's control), but no matter, we still think it's got more long-term potential than "Runs Deep."
Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced.
