1972 Chevrolet C10 4x4 350 V8 Vortec Heads Automatic 3/4 Ton Axles Disc Brakes on 2040-cars
Chico, California, United States
You don't see a lot of these truck around anymore, especially in this
shape and built like this. I have a nice 1972 Chevy C10 4x4 pickup. My
truck has a lot of nice upgrades. 350 V8 with Vortec heads, Edelbrock
intake and a Holley Avenger carb. Crane cam(nice mean rumble) HEI
ignition, 3" exhaust all of the way back. Turbo 350 automatic
transmission. Has 3/4 ton 8 lug axles front and back. 14" front disc brakes, power steering,
front disc brakes, Warn locking hubs. Aftermarket gauges along with all
of the original gauges that all work. Has complete AC set up but not yet
on the truck. Nice stock Chevy 8 lugs wheels with all terrain tires.
Stainless steel tool box with keys(850.00 new) tow package newer Chevy
seats, Alpine CD stereo. This truck runs great and very strong. Turn
key, drive anywhere. Body is in excellent shape, no dents. Has some
bubbles in the front quarters but hardly noticeable. Paint is a little
faded but will buff out nice. Interior is very nice, carpet is a little
faded but no rips or wear in the seats. No cracks in the dash, cab
painted to match the outside. All of the gauges, heater, windshield
wipers, lights, turn signals, stereo all work. This is a very solid
classic truck that runs and looks very nice. Clean California title, never needs
smog. Maybe interested in some
trades.

Why the Corvette's Performance Data Recorder can be illegal in some states
Fri, 26 Sep 2014The Performance Data Recorder with Valet Mode available on the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray seems like a fantastic tool for many owners. Whether they are taking 720p video while lapping the track in their new 'Vette, or just want to protect their purchase from inconsiderate joyriders, the system offers a lot of functionality in one package. However, one of the PDR's features might get buyers in trouble with the law, and it has nothing to do with recording some illicit high-speed driving on a favorite back road. The problem hinges on the various state laws concerning a person's right to privacy.
According to a letter posted by Jalopnik, Chevy dealers are asking 2015 Corvette owners not to use the Valet Mode portion of the PDR because it records audio in the cabin, in addition to performance specs. That's a problem because privacy laws vary from state to state with some requiring just one side's consent to tape sound and others requiring all parties to agree. According Jalopnik, 15 states mandate everyone's permission beforehand, but it's not clear whether these numbers are up to date. (Actually, the report varies, saying 13 states in some places and 15 in a list.)
According to the letter, Chevy is already working on a software update for the near future to rectify the issue. It's possible that simply adding a warning to drivers and the ability to turn off the audio recording function in Valet Mode might solve the problem. Obviously, this doesn't preclude Corvette drivers from using the performance aspect of the PDR, and owners are free tape lap after lap at the track.
GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes
Mon, 01 Oct 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
While the list of affected cars and crossovers varies by state and model year, if you own any of these models and live in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma or Texas, be sure to check the official notice below for more details.
Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.
