CUSTOM 1937 CHEVY 1/2 TON MOUNTED ON FULL SIZE CHEVY BLAZER CHASSIS
Just in time for the spring mud bog race competition. 1937 Chevy 1/2 ton that has been mounted on a 1975 full size Chevy Blazer with 4 wheel drive. Power steering, power brakes, front disk brakes, rear drum brakes, turbo 400 auto transmission, good running small block Chevy engine,4-wheel drive works great, decent tires, rear mount radiator with cooling fan, heavy duty roll bar, factory tow hooks in front, trailer receiver in back, side stack exhaust, visor, etc. This truck is turn key and ready to go. Engine runs great and cooling system flowing as it should. The gas tank has rust issues so I would suggest pulling it out and mounting a fuel cell in the bed but I will leave that up to the new owner. It is running on a gas can mounted up front for now. It was built for mud racing competition or an awesome vehicle to use on the farm or off road in general. It is not currently street legal and I have no title for it.I will provide a Bill of Sale only. There is a Vin plate with a Vin # on the cowl so you could get it titled and set it up for the street if you wanted. There are some rust issues in the rockers and door as shown in the pictures. This ain't no show truck but it is Bad to the bone. A tough reliable truck that is ready to tear it up! I am in Utah and the truck is centrally located near Dallas,Texas. That makes it a snap to transport anywhere in the country. I will answer any questions just fire them off to me and I will do my best to answer them. LOW RESERVE,WELL BELOW BUILD COST. |

Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]
Tue, 19 Mar 2013This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...
Chevy confirms Corvette Stingray Convertible for Geneva
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Want proof that General Motors has increased global ambitions for its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray? It's staging the world premiere of the model's convertible variant at the Geneva Motor Show early next month.
As previously rumored, the droptop rendered above will debut at the Swiss show, making its first appearance anywhere on March 5. According to Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet, the location makes sense because Corvette "...is an icon that has long been recognized and admired even in countries where it's never officially been offered."
While neither Chevrolet nor the Corvette has a major sales presence in Switzerland, the Bowtie's European headquarters is located in Zurich (about three hours to the northeast of Geneva) and GM has made it clear that it wants to build the Chevrolet brand up across Europe.
Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it
Wed, 06 Nov 2013We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.
