i'm selling my 64 nova run's great in need of some tlc ..the car has a 350 stock 4 bolt main 010 block motor in it with a edlebrock tunnel ram with twin 450 holley carbs ..and alum water pump small cam and new hei dis. a turbo 350 transmission and a 3500 stall speed converter..also is back half'ed with an auto fab rear end with ladder bars coil overs 35 spline and strange axle's 456 gears i know i'm missing something to tell you..... has has s10 front end with wellwood breaks rotors... glass in the rear and glass windshield and front driver door glass and wing glass on both doors.. and a sport b&m shift'er new cable.. ..has trick tires up front and 15 * 33 slicks in the back.has aluminum.door panels and rear panels ith leather heated seats.. fiberglass hood and front bumper and rear bumper...NO RUST OR ROT>pic will show a before and now .has vin...this is a garage keep't car......the car is only a few bucks from being street legal so for now its a pro stock pro street.my car started out red pics showed then was primed as you can see..im selling the car as is where is with bill of sale...you guys that know about the car well you know about this car's potential and for the hobby guy or father son team. like myself this is a great price to own this car.. ..any offer's ...so if your interested and want to come over to look and hear the car run or like to chat tex me call, ... good luck and thank you for looking.. New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette
Mon, 04 Feb 2013If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.
GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada
Thu, 21 Feb 2013Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title
Thu, 12 Sep 2013General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
