1974 Chevy Nova, 350, 4 Speed on 2040-cars

This is a 1974 Chevy Nova 2 door. The car has had the engine and trans changed out and the paint color changed, sport mirrors added but NO MAJOR BODY WORK. the body is in great shape. undercarriage is rust free, only place with rust in the inside of the truck and that is just surface rust from this last winter. other that that the rear bumper has a small spot of corrosion and the passengers door has a 3 inch scratch that has been touched up but paint. The engine was installed last spring. it is a 350 4 bolt main bored .030 over. less then 400 miles on the engine since installed. The trans is a Saginaw 4 speed. Original drum brakes all the way around. car has 84000 original miles on body. Car was painted from red to blue about 7 years ago. still have the paper work with paint codes. Also has 2 new "Nova" badges and a new set of 3.73 grears. Ring and pinion were never installed in car. Runs and drives Great. please message with any questions. |

Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]
Mon, 18 Aug 2014For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered. Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
