1967 Nova Wagon Pro Tour

Sometimes life just throws you a curve you just cant dodge. I just got hit right between the eyes!
I need to free up some space and also realize this car just isnt going to get buttoned up on my watch.
This car was not built by me but it was built right and only top notch parts were used for the drive line as I list them I think you will agree.
So he is the skinny on the parts and they were bought new for the build:

383 small block pro built and is capable of smoking the tires to oblivion and scary fast

Heidts frontend is hanging of the front and this needs no explanation if you have ever driven one, has a manual rack with discs

TCI 700r4 so a cruise down the four lane is effortless and keeps up with traffic (if you slow down and wait on them)

Currier 9 in rear 33 spline axle 373 gear detroit locker and big brakes

The paint is slick and trim looks great

As I said all parts were bought new for this build and have few miles

this car was being set up for pro tour with bucket seats and console, I was going back with a stock interior but that will be left up to the next owner.
With that said the car needs a COMPLETE interior and the price reflect that, what the price also reflects is a bad little wagon for what the parts would cost and you get new paint ( its 2004 viper red) over the original factory sheet metal that hangs on this car straight.
The car runs and drives great and you continue to do so as you complete the interior.
Iam sure I forgot something so email and you will get a prompt answer

UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."

GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.

Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.
