1967 Chevy Ii 2 Door Hard Top on 2040-cars

Year:1967 Mileage:100000
Location:

Rome, Georgia, United States

Here is my 1967  Chevy II  2 DOOR  HARD  TOP, it's in good shape. It has a place in the passengers floor that is rusted through( about the size of a soft ball or maybe a little bigger ). I DO  NOT have a title for this car, but can give you a bill of sale, and have it notarized if  needed, With that said, I can continue with my description, It has a good trunk pan with a few small places that has rusted through ( like the size of a marble ), It also has good floor pans as you will see in the pictures. The seats need covered, but the body is in GREAT shape. There is a bad place behind the rear wheel on the passengers side, but it's at the very bottom of the quarter. It has a small block sitting the engine compartment with no heads or intake, or carb, and I do not have them or I would include them with the car. The body has surface rust in some places, but that is all that it is. This article would not take all my pictures of the floor pans( which are in good shape), and the rockers that are in good shape too. The car does not run and is not drivable. It will need to be trailered, or towed to move it. The wheels and tires do not go with the car, but I do have some tires and wheels to put on to make it roll for transport. All the glass is good, and the pictures will show everything that I could think of to take a picture of. These cars are getting really hard to find in GOOD shape like this one. I have had this one for a very long time, but do not have time or money to fix it like it need to be fixed. The car needs restoration, and it wouldn't take that much to make it REALLY sharp!!! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, and I will answer ASAP.

I have described as best as I can, the winning bidder ( buyer ) is responsible for transport of the vehicle, I do not have a title, but can provide a bill of sale ( the ebay article does not have a space to check for bill of sale only, and it is a requirement to make an article ), I reserve the right to end at anytime, due to local advertisement, The car does not have any warranty, sold as is where it is, at the end of auction a $500 deposit goes to my Pay Pal account, all deposits are non refundable. If you have (0) feed back, contact me first before you bid! Thanks

GOOD LUCK BIDDING !!!

Thanks for looking!!

C7 Corvette turbo with 1,000 horsepower promised from Hennessey

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

If you can't wait for the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Hennessey says they will have you covered. The Texas-based company has announced it will offer a spate of upgrades for the 2014 Corvette ranging from a range of bolt-on options all the way up to a 1,000-horsepower, twin-turbo system. Buyers can start with a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust or stainless steel long-tube headers, but Hennessey says it will also offer up three stages of forced induction mayhem should those bits and baubles not provide enough thrust.
Those choices start with a supercharger system good for up to 700 hp, though Hennessey will gladly ditch the blower in favor of two turbos. Doing so will spin the crank to the tune of 800 horsepower all the way up to a certifiably ludicrous 1,000 ponies. There's no word on how much these tricks will cost you - or when they will be available, as we're guessing they haven't gotten their hands on the car yet - but you can head over to the Hennessey site to drop them a line if you're curious.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.

Chevy might've pulled out of NASCAR if it weren't for new Gen 6 car

Wed, 20 Feb 2013

We've been on the fence with NASCAR for some time now. On one hand, it's some of the closest racing anywhere in motorsports, with actual passing and door-handle-to-door-handle action as a matter of course. But on the other, it's become template racing - a personality-driven sport more about the drivers than any sort of loyalty to a particular automaker. The Car Of Tomorrow format really rammed that message home, with a racecar's identity coming down to little more than headlamp stickers slapped on the nose. That's not necessarily a bad thing in and of itself, but we've wondered for some time what's in it for the automakers, who pay big money to stay in a series that has had little increasingly little do with street car sales, let alone innovation.
Apparently General Motors was beginning to wonder the same thing. In a new ESPN report, Rick Hendrick, team owner of Hendrick Motorsports, suggests that GM would have seriously considered leaving NASCAR if it wasn't for the move away from the COT to the new Gen 6 racer. According to Hendrick, GM North America boss Mark Reuss spearheaded the charge away from the 2007 COT and toward a racecar with clearer automaker ties - cars like the new Chevrolet SS racer shown above. Learn more about the fight for a closer-to-production look in the ESPN story at the link.
Now, if we could just get more rear-wheel drive V8 coupes into showrooms....
