It has a complete new tubular front subframe with coilovers, power four wheel disc brakes, rack and pinion steering and a posi traction rear end. It has a drop dead gorgeous Jet Blue paint job that looks absolutely amazing that was finished in base coat, clear coat. It was hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish. The body is very straight, solid. It also has all new rubbers throughout the car. Absolutely everything on this car is brand new or restored as you can see from the pictures. It is sitting on a set of 17" custom built wheels with brand new BFG tires. This Nova literally stops traffic with the amount of attention it receives! The factory SS interior is all new and looks amazing. Everything works great in the car except the speedo. In the trunk it has all been refinished and looks nice. It has a great sounding, sound system with a fitted Custom Auto Sound radio. Mechanically, this Nova is in perfect condition and is basically all brand new. It runs like an absolute animal with its built fuel injected 425hp LS1. It has headers and custom exhaust system that sounds awesome. Under the hood is detailed to show quality and looks amazing. The suspension is all done to true pro-touring specs with complete new tubular front subframe, tubular A-arms, adjustable coil-overs, power rack and pinion steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes and posi traction rear end. GM claims it's first to sell million 30+ mpg vehicles
Fri, 04 Jan 2013As we continue to put together all the data for the year-end edition of By The Numbers, General Motors has announced that it sold more than a million vehicles in the US last year that achieved at least 30 miles per gallon on the highway. More impressively, GM managed this feat using multiple strategies including small vehicle size, turbocharged engines and hybrid or plug-in technologies across four brands (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC) accounting for 13 separate models. This number will grow even more in 2013 thanks to cars like the all-electric Spark, the diesel Cruze, the range-extended Cadillac ELR and the Buick Encore compact CUV.
GM's small car sales were up 39 percent last year helping to attain this million-sales mark for 30-mpg models, and almost 40 percent of all GM sales consisted of cars with fuel-efficient I4 engines. In regards to more advanced means of improving fuel economy, GM says that it plans on having 500,000 vehicles with "some form of electrification" on the road by 2017.

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers.
