You are bidding on a 1966 Chevy II Nova SS CLONE, the car was an original Chevy II V-8, the engine has been replaced with a 1975 350 ci at what point in its life I am not sure, it was built in Willow Run , Michigan 1st week of Jan 1966, I purchased the car exactly as you see it. The cars trim tag states 779 Turquoise Standard / LL Tropic Turquoise it was repainted prior to my purchase the dark green that it is now and very well done. The paint is a 10, the interior is a 10, no rips, no tears, carpet is perfect, door panels perfect, seat belts perfect, window felt perfect, all windows roll up and down with ease, doors shut tight, original clock works, the previous owner installed a 6 disc cd player that you can barely notice right in front of the console, it has the original radio installed but not hooked up, since there is an am/fm with remote control installed inside the glove box, the antenna has been fluted and is electric and very well done. The trunk is perfect, correct splatter paint the spare tire and jack have the factory correct (I think) colors and covers for them, the previous owner installed a fire extinguisher in the trunk which is charged and up to date. The underneath of the car is as nice as the top of the car, new exhaust front to rear, ceramic coated headers, rear air shocks plumed very nicely. The tires and rims are perfect with 14 inch tires and 90% tread remaining, one tiny oil drip that comes from the oil drain plug, which I haven't messed with yet. No leaks from the transmission and it shifts great the only problem is it is a power glide, no leaks or slippage, the rear end is factory and no noise. I have the original steering wheel which comes with the car as well and currently in the trunk of the car as you will see in the pictures. There is a gauge package installed below the dash and all gauges work, the gas gauge works and is accurate.
I took the car to have the front end aligned and we had to replace the idler arms and bushings as they were totally shot, after the replacement and front end alignment the car tracks and drives like a new one, $558.00 later.
The car ships from Boise, Idaho after I have received full payment, I do not have the time to arrange your shipping if you want it delivered, the car is currently at my place of business and locked in a hangar so if you would like to come and inspect the car prior arrangements will have to be made. If you have additional questions please contact me, at lkelley@constructionhelicopters.com or 208-890-9417.

Watch the live reveal of the 2014 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra [UPDATE]
Thu, 13 Dec 2012UPDATE: The trucks have been revealed. Click here for all of the official details.
As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).
Shift your eyes down just below to see the reveal as it happens, starting at 9:30 AM EST. We anticipate having loads of images full technical information to share after the webcast, too, so truck aficionados should stay tuned. We'll also be bringing you live images of both trucks too, when we see them on the show floor at next month's Detroit Auto Show.
Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th
Tue, 15 Apr 2014It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.
