STOP STOP STOP !!! Dont buy anything until you check this out ! This is a TITLED 1966 chevy II 2 dr. hardtop drag car . Its a 2x3 backhalf car 10 point cage ( not cert. ) with leaf spring ladder bar setup, chev 12 bolt 513 gears moser axles and spool and comp. engineering rear shocks .and good year 14x32's on rear ( and thats all it will take ) stock front with lakewood shocks and springs . disc brakes on front rear drum . its an all steel car except hood , trunk and rear bumper . all factory glass and windows roll up and down . doors shut nicely . body lines and gaps are good ( not perfect ) has 5 gallon fuel cell with electric pump as well as power glide shifter with dedenbear electric shift solenoid and crossover delay box , MSD ignition as well as a full compliment of gauges and trans brake button .the car has been a race car for a long time its an older build but works great !! it hooks up and drives great I won with the car just a few weeks ago . with a glide and a 355 it goes 6.74 et and 143 / 142 60ft. . as with any race car it has its share of scuffs and scratches fiberglass stress cracks and so on but it still makes a great appearance cleans up nicely and gets a lot of compliments . I am selling this car as a roller !! which means NO ENGINE, TRANS, CONVT, ,RADIATOR or HEADERS all electronics as described in add stays as well as wiring and driveshaft . again a complete roller minus engine, trans, converter and headers everything else stays ! As far as putting it back on the street , head lights taillights are all there would need wiring harness add 1 bucket seat change gear spool etc. as stated before the car makes an overall nice appearance and works great ! it does have normal wear and tear for a race car the headliner is all there but does have 2 or 3 holes in it and the previous owner cut an area to access trans bell housing bolts ( top of trans tunnel at firewall ) . this is as good as i can describe the car. I encourage you to look at it or have someone do it for you . I wouldnt want anyone to be dis appointed or feel mislead so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont assume anything if its not in the description or pics its not there feel free to call with any questions (859) 393-4056 I will do my best to answer promptly thanks for bidding and good luck

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting? Vote in our poll below, then feel free to leave a few lines in Comments.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado tows in new configurator, microsite
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Judging by your continued enthusiastic response to configurator notices, dear reader, you enjoy speccing out new cars as much as we do. Better still, there tends to be even more ways to personalize, configure and bloat theoretical MSRPs on full-size trucks as there are with more ordinary passenger cars. In addition to trim level, engine and transmission choices, truck buyers usually have to specify items like cab configuration, bed length, number of driven axles, tow packages, gear ratios and all sorts of bits and bobs.
That's why we're pleased to see the DIY specification utility for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado come alive so soon after this week's Detroit Auto Show debut. While the configurator lacks pricing (General Motors hasn't announced numbers yet) and full options, you can still spec out your half-ton rig, and even print it out or email it to your friends. Beyond the configurator, the new model-specific site is pretty cool, too, with various videos and closer looks at the truck's new features.
The new Chevrolet pickup range won't be on dealer lots until sometime this summer, so whether you're a building contractor, an avid sportsman or just a guy or gal that loves full-size trucks, you might want to check out the link below to keep your appetite whetted. If you're more of a Sierra fan, well, it looks like you're going to have to wait a while - GMC hasn't updated its site yet.
More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1
Thu, 28 Feb 2013During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.
