1962 Chevrolet Chevy Nova Hard Top

Call me and I will be happy to provide any information you need before you buy (916)337-2231

You are looking at my 1962 Chevy Nova 2 door hard top. I have owned this vehicle for many years now but it's time to let it go. This was a barnyard find in Folsum, CA. This was a project car built through our former custom automotive shop. Ever since it's build over 7 years ago we have hardly put 100 miles on it. We have invested tens of thousands of dollars into this car with parts such as: CPP front clip/rack n pinion steering, dakota digital dash, air ride technologies air suspension system. The transmission alone was over $3000 through ATO Transmissions in Ranco Cordova, CA which shifts nicely. There are too many thing to list from the subtle aesthetic modifications to the complete air suspension system. Sellers note - I want to be upfront there is a small hair line crack along the drivers wheel wale that I couldn't pick up on camera. There is a 2" crack on the drivers door glass. For what it's worth the vent knobs are just aesthetics. You can see in the pictures that we blocked off some of the firewall with billet panels. But hey its a hot rod, what do you expect? If you have further questions please call me.

- Fully adjustable air ride suspension
- New four wheel dis brakes cross drilled
Shaved gas lid door
Custom fuel filler in trunk

New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.

Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.

Use this PowerPoint when convincing your spouse to let you buy a Corvette

Thu, 14 Feb 2013

When you are not the one in charge of the purse strings, creativity is a must when trying to get the string-holder to bankroll that next shiny object you just can't live without.
When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
