Expanding Family forces sale of my 1985 Monte Carlo SS. I have owned this vehicle thru college but need a Family car! GREAT oppurntunity to pick up a classic 80's muscle car. Previous owner installed a Camaro powerplant and this Monte Carlo runs strong. However since the birth of my child it spends its time sitting in the condo garage. Only driven around town locally for short trips, vehicle needs a good shake down for daily use. Wife says time to get a SUV this vehicle was not made for babies. Over the last year its seen less than 2000 miles, as much as I hate to, its time to let her go. Several upgrades made over the years, but will require a good going through to make it your everday driver or strip terror. AC which blows cold need a bracket to function. May need tires down the road. Hard to Find and priced to sell, very low reserve means this one is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
