Very good First Gen Monte Carlo for sale. 1970 mostly all original, never been restored. Always garage kept. 350 motor 350 Automatic Trans. Factory heat and air with rally wheels. Some of the sheet metal has already been repalced. All that remains are the normal patch areas ( lower fender, lower quarter panels and trunk pan. Just needs new spark plug wires and distributor to be back on the road regularly.Clean and straight frame, no holes just minor surface rust. Fairly new vinyl top. Top was replaced just before I purchased the car a few years back. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements, but I will be more than willing to help with any loading of the vehicle for transport. Clean Title!!! Deposit of $1500 is expected within 48 hours of auction end using paypal. Remaining balance should be made no more than 72 hours from time of deposit. This can also be through paypal or cashier's check. Auction may end at any time as this car is also for sale locally. GM recalling 118K Colorado, Canyon pickups over missing hood latches
Thu, 20 Dec 2012General Motors has announced a recall of 118,800 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup trucks due to the possibility of secondary hood latches not being installed at the time of manufacture. The affected vehicles are from the 2010, 2011 and 2012 model years, all of which were built between November 9, 2009 and August 28, 2012.
According to the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, these trucks fail to "comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 113, 'Hood Latch System.' The hood may be missing the secondary hood latch." In other words, owners of these trucks could find their vehicles' hoods opening unexpectedly while driving.
The official recall campaign is expected to begin on January 17, 2013. Dealers will inspect the affected pickups and if a secondary hood latch is not present, one will be installed free of charge. Scroll down to read the official NHTSA report.
Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues

Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
